I haven't read the Pensees in its entirety but I've read parts of it. Pascal's wager is extremely simplistic and ignores the fact that there are many other options that one could "wager." It also assumes that if you believe you will automatically go to heaven and gain infinitely...Thus, one might wager alongside Pascal but lead a horribly despicable life and not gain infinitely...

God exists +inf. -inf. (perhaps -x where x is not inf. (limbo))
God doesn't exist -nothing +nothing
but what if you wager God exists but believe in the wrong God...The God that really exists punishes those who believe the God that Pacal wagers on...
Anyhow, the point is that this matrix is overly simplistic...Of course, the wager itself wasn't a statement about God's existence but only rational decision making (and it is pretty clear that Pascal's wager won't lead to rational decision making).
