I don't really like toast much.

I'll eat it if its there, but its not something I'd make for myself.

Sure, grape jelly, strawberry preserves - or maybe some cinnamon toast on occasion.

Conserves are best.
Preserves are 2nd.
Jam is 3rd.
Marmalade & jelly are dead last.

OK, Marmite is dead last on....

I've known some people who like peanut butter on toast, but I never cared for it.

I love grapes and grow a couple of vines but the fruit is always eaten long before it can be preserved.

What i do make lots of is strawberry jam (again home grown) and fig jam, (although we have a couple of young trees they don't yeald enough fruit yet but a friend has a couple of mature trees and always drops a bucket of fresh ripe figs for jam making)

Both good on toast for breakfast.

Have you ever tried peanut butter and jam on bread or toast?

I think I'm going to make millet porridge with peanut butter for breakfast. Rebellious(I think).
