No. When I was in my teens I did, but I grew out of it.

Furthermore, if one has a sweet biscuit or cake with tea, then having it without sugar adds contrast and cleanses the palate.

Most Indians cannot think of tea without sugar and milk, sometimes with 2 tea spoons of sugar or more. I put less than about one tea spoon of sugar. But perhaps you asked this question to show that life cannot be without God. Sugar may be good in tea, but life is better without a God to worry about. I know that you are a great believer in God.

When I was a kid I did then my father would not allow us to put sugar in tea..You didn't disobey my father or else. Turns out I like my tea without sugar although it was forced on me can't drink it with sugar anymore. So I guess the old-mans ploy worked.
