I put this in debates because I'm sure it will turn in to one. Saving the mods time of having to move it later lol Just curious how many do/don't Its a simple question. Either you own a gun(s) or you don't. It doesn't matter if you used to.

I voted ‘Never have.’

My father owns an old rifle that we used at a range once when I was a boy. The reason that I never purchased a firearm was that my mother was uncomfortable with me owning one. One reason for that was that I had a hot temper back then until my mid-20s, from what I remember. While I’m living here in Korea, purchasing a firearm is nearly impossible. In my case, it is totally impossible because it’s not as if I’m a hunter. If I get back to living in the US, I’ll very likely never purchase a firearm. It’s just not part of my temperament to own weapons. Nonetheless, I admire and support people whose profession involves using firearms and other weapons to protect others.

I'm not sure what this poll will tell you, given that the answers will depend so strongly on the gun laws that apply in the countries that respondents happen to live in.

I love vintage firearms and wouldn't mind getting myself a musket.

I used to conceal carry a knife and open carry a trained Rottweiler. That has nothing to do with guns, but does undermine some of my credibility when arguing that people shouldn't arm themselves.
