Do You Think I'm Going to Hell?

Do you think I'm going to burn in Hell forever and forever in fire and torment (or some version thereof)?

Let me try to build my case that such is indeed my fate:

1. I'm a active homosexual.

2. I practice Black Magic.

3. I was once a true believer (as a child) in a radical Pentecostal cult which I then left, rejected, and denounced (therefore I'm technically an apostate in that literal sense).

4. I pretty much worship the Serpent of the Garden of Eden whom I regard as the Supreme God (Abraxas/Samael). Many if not most people would thereby consider me a follower of Satan.

5. I believe eventually that I will become God (could I be anymore heretical?).

My case that I wouldn't deserve to burn in Hell:

1. Never committed a crime (never even received a traffic ticket or anything else).

2. Though I believe that humans are born amoral - I am in fact: a. rabidly ethical; b. believe in non-violence; c. believe mankind ultimately struggles toward the good; d. charitable/altruistic and support the poor and take care of the sick (in fact I've given every last dime to someone I truly love).

I leave it with only two good points about myself in order to favor my argument that I'll burn in Hell.

Why do I ask this?

Because my cousin told me this: "Blake, you're such a intelligence, nice, and beautiful young man that's why I pity you so much that you're going to burn in Hell forever."

I had never been more turned off by an appeal to save my soul.

I don't believe in hell, even as a Christian, I had a hard time believing that an almighty and powerful God would feel the need to create an eternal place of torment. As if he is a parent sending his petulant kids into an endless time out? I just don't believe in it, really.

But, even if it does exist...and even if a god exists...no one could know who will 'be' there. No mere mortal could possibly know who will 'end up' there. But, I've often found it sadly comical when many believers feel that they know without a doubt who will go to heaven, and who will go to hell.

Having said that, every religion has a different set of rules and views heaven/hell slightly different than the next one. You sound like an interesting person, but in some religions, that's considered sinful. :p

There is no Evil autonomous Satan in Tanakh, and no Hell. These are cooked up by later misunderstanding, mistranslating, people.

So no Hell for you to go to.

Firstly, no human cannot know your state before God, as a result it would be far too presumptuous to speculate on your final end.

Secondly, as long as you are alive nothing is written into stone in regards to your end.

in other words, there's no hell.

You ask this question as if you think that we have an answer for you. I don't have an answer for you. What you do in your life is between you and G-D.
The question I'd to ask is if you even believe in G-D? If you don't, then why worry about it.

If i know where i'll go then i may tell you where will you go.

But since you mentioned that you're active homosexual then i may advice you to have safe sex to avoid AIDS because that alone is the hell on earth.

Hello! :)
No..... you won't go to hell, but there's one of two members that ought to...... especially certain irreverent members from Michiganistania! :p

I would only ask you to reconsider one sentence in your whole post, and that is:-
Though I believe that humans are born amoral
I don't think that anything is born amoral....... all creatures are born subject to the rules and requirements of Mother Nature. :)

Simple answer: I believe in god. I call him Abraxas or Samael or Typhon. I'm very much a Freemason and a Neo-Platonist.

I believe in the pre-existence of a psyche and its immortality after your physical death.

I believe religion and god are paradoxical and can be dangerous.

I would advise people not to dabble with religion or believe in it in the same way that most people shouldn't attempt to be rocket scientists lest they go up in a puff of smoke.

Quote:

"Lucifer, the Light-bearer! Strange and mysterious name to give to the Spirit of Darkness! Lucifer, the Son of the Morning! Is it he who bears the Light, and with its splendors intolerable, blinds feeble, sensual, or selfish souls? Doubt it not!" - by Albert Pike from Morals and Dogma of the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite of Freemasonry, p. 321

"Abraxas speaketh that hallowed and accursed word which is life and death at the same time. Abraxas begetteth truth and lying, good and evil, light and darkness in the same word and in the same act. Wherefore is Abraxas terrible." - Carl Jung from The Seven Sermons of the Dead

Strange, I've never considered if humans are inherently amoral. Oh well.

Your cousin is using hell to make themselves feel better. Like a bully, putting someone else down makes them feel better about their own insecurities and weaknesses.
Believing you go to hell justifies their belief that they're going to heaven.

We've all been weak at some point or another, so I hope you don't blame your cousin.

I don't agree that humans are born subject to any rules and requirements of Mother Nature and I hold firm to the belief that the human psyche is completely non-natural and therefore is master of nature rather than derivative or subservient to it.

In the words of Max Stirner we are a: creative nothing.

Tabula rasa.

Blank slate.

Because we're born into a universe without meaning then we can build up our own little world of our own from without foundation. All the world is mine . . . or yours.

Hmmmm.....
I can't see it......... No.... :D
You were born, survived, will live, may reproduce, will die, all under the absolute rule and dictates, of..... Mother Nature!

You even have to defecate and urinate when she dictates...... you could not change a single tiny thing...... even miracles are Hers to command as she pleases. :)

If Hell exists right now your going there. 1) You practice Black Magic which always penalizes the soul of the practitioner. 2) You worship the snake which is known to be the ruler of Hell.

If Hell doesn't exist your fine and if you convert again you'll be fine; however, your practices indicate you believe hell exists and you don't mind the consequences of your actions so you'll get what your striving for.
