Does anyone go to a Hindu exclusive forum?

This is the only religious forum i've been on, but i'd like to stretch my wings and find more people who are Hindu with valuable knowledge on other sites. Don't think i'm moving. I love this forum and everyone here! :)

RF is by far the best open-hearted Hindu forum that I could find. There are no Hindu-only forums that I know of, non-Hindus are always welcome in other forums, but they are oppressive. One forum made it essential that I should begin every post with a 'namaste' - so stiffling, Nothing against 'namaste', but it is contrived. It should be taken as granted when we post.

hindudharmaforums is not bad for information, but that place is basically dead
HDF is good, but it has lots of moderation, believe it or not they have moderation for every post you make which is ridiculous, there are lots of knowledgeable ones there but due to amounts of time it takes for a post to appear, I migrated here :)
Here the problem is many don't post and also very very few posts you see from a respective siddhanta

Namaste and Hari Bol,..lol

I have not been much for exclusivity, this forum provides space for interaction with non Hindus which is refreshing, Why would one even make exclusive forums? especially Hindu ones?, it does not make much sense as it goes vary much against the inclusive nature of our Dharmah.

Dhanyavad,
This is just your opinion....But it might be refreshing for a serious seeker to learn more in less time and the exclusive forums help in that, no unnecessary distractions

Namaste,

I respect your opinion.

It just seems like one has to be exclusive before learning how to be inclusive? but this is just my observation.

My experience has ranged from good to horribly oppressive regarding other forums. I tend not to give out URLs of Hindu exclusive forums, I can I'M my thoughts if you like. Actually one of the best is now gone. There are some which are so caste extremist that it could even get you depressed. Now I do not mean myself, since I have multiple "personalities" (all of them rascal like) so even if one of them is taken aback a bit I just turn into another and carry on with my mischief, I am sort of a wolf in that manner - but I have seen how castism (caste extremism) has really hurt others and they abandone Hinduism. I could never do that because I am a Hindu since 8 years old, but some castists are so mean spirited to Western Hindus that these Western Hindus literally are devastated and I don't blame them for becoming a Buddhist in "protest" or whatever. . Since I am a rascal and wild, I don't care what others say, but for some perhaps they should just stick with RF right now and the Hinduism dir. No matter what, I will never betray or abandon any Western Hindu, I am so proud of them and their great charms and magical pure spirits.

In my search of knowledge I first went to AdvaitaList thinking that I was some kind of advaitist but got banned rather quickly just for putting forward my own brand of advaita on the Forums's table. I should also say that I got banned from a number of western secular fora which I found in the end were not suited to truthseeking because they are all exclusive in their own ways and moderated to pander to their regular posters who maintain their exclusivity.

Now I do not go to any other Fora except Religious Forums where I have learnt much for the Blog that I write as I think of new topics and discover ideas from my interactions here. I have found Religious Forums to be a very soothing place where we learn to respect each other as individuals who are all on their individual journeys to make sense of Reality. Here I tune in to read opinions and beliefs to continually update my understanding of Reality.

As an advaitist of some description I consider myself a Hindu but always specify the nature of my Hinduism as a satya-advaitic theist. This is not something anyone will come across from scriptures so perhaps some may feel that I am not a Hindu at all. I took off my sacred thread as a Brahmin that I was born into over a decade ago. But I feel for example that @Aupmanyav is a satya-advaitic atheist (He was my guru at one time at Freethought and Rationalism Discussion Board) and I still love him for his devotion to this DIR and providing very useful information for posters (I just feel sorry for him that God did not see it necessary to reveal Himself to him!). Similarly, I love @ratikala too for her very amenable and thoughtful posts coming from a totally different perspective to Aupmanyavji. Of course, I like @ShivaFan very interesting posts. Some others like Vinayaka and Poetecus who do not post here any more were also good Hindus. I do hope that these people will stay at Religious Forums for the rest of their lives for they encapsulate the wealth of Hinduism. The Religious Forum HInduism DIR is where we need to encourage all Hindus (and non-HIndus, why not!) to come and find the answers to the questions that afflict the human mind seeking guidance like one would try for when one sees a guru.
