Does Porn Lead to Rape?

No I'm talking about unreported rapes

Can't help you there, I do not have an answer in regards to that. I am talking about what research shows/would show.

If porn led to rape there would be more rapes than could be held on record I can assure you. I for one have never raped anyone.

I heard somewhere that 70% of men admit(that's admit) to watching porn at least once a month

If 70% of men raped there would be a case. However, I do not believe this to be the case. And let us not forget that it isnt just men that watch porn and it isnt just men that rape.

We shouldn't forget women rape too. It's just that women are not held acountable for their crimes like men are.

And there is an embarassment factor when it comes to men reporting rape because of how society view men and rape.

She was 18 and I was 14. I don't think willfull sex between teenagers should be considered rape. But legally it was child rape since she was an adult and I was a child. So statistically it counts, even if I think it shouldn't be considered rape.

Even though I do not agree with sex at that age and it classed as rape, it is not the type of rape I am referring to.

My guess is that huge numbers of men view porn without ever being inclined to rape a woman. On the other hand, I just have a gut feeling that of those men who have at some time been guilty of rape, the vast majority have also viewed porn. And no, I don't have any statistics to support my opinion.

I'd say the vast majority of Men in general watch porn, so if it turned out that the majority of Male rapists watched porn, I don't think that would really say anything significant about porn leading to rape.
