I honestly cannot count the amount of times I have watched it. Discovered it when I was 14. Used to watch it a lot. Then I came out and it dropped a bit but I still watched it cos I was single lol. Havent watched it much since I got with my gf.

From what I've been able to find, no one, NO ONE, has any reliable statistics on porn and questions involving How-many-people ____________fill in the blank________________. The numbers are all over the place; almost all falling in line with the agenda of the people offering the figures. Unless the stats come from an unbiased source I wouldn't give a nickle for any of them.

It's probably because there is still a social stigma surrounding it. Like number of sexual partners and masturbation, public surveys will find people either grossly inflating their numbers or severely diminish their numbers based on how they wish to respond to the social stigma and how they wish to appear.

I've definitely seen it argued that pornography can lead/contribute to sexual violence(because it reinforces gender stereotypes, eroticizes coercive sexual relations and so on) but I've never seen any hard data that settles the matter one way or another; it seems to be that pornography CAN contribute to increased sexual aggression/violence, but not necessarily (as this writer claims, or this one). At the very least, there are too many other factors to accurately say, without qualification, that porn leads to rape.
