Well not a personal one, I think. But then again, IMO it contains all informations which you can - or cannot - think of.This question may have been asked before, but

Could that consciousness be God?If by "universe," you mean matter and space (the cosmos), then no, in my understanding, it doesn't have consciousness. It's an appearance in consciousness.
My thought is no, but I also view the universe as a subset of all potential. Maybe the universe isn't conscious, but that doesn't mean there isn't a greater consciousness. This question may have been asked before, but

Who can say? One think is for sure. If a mosquito bites it in Andromeda, it might take millions of years before it realizes it.This question may have been asked before, but

hey @SalixIncendium,
To the phrase: " It's and appearance in consciousness. ", please explain that.
maybe: " It's an appearance in consciousness.", sooo...what does that mean, visibly.
Are these waves from some form of `energy` of received signals or ???
The Cosmos has no cognizance, only it's future will be known, until the future,
no `now` you know !

Personally I do not have the answer fully understood so I thought I would be a nice topic to discuss. These questions seem to suggest an insecurity or looking for a way to validate dubious religious beliefs. Asking the question often seems a ploy that suggests it is possible. it's like asking "How often do you beat your wife?", and even though the guy never does, it's the asking that suggests it's true.
If these questions are going to be asked there needs to be some evidence of it, and also what the answer will suggest. When the question is vague it opens the door for any sort of nonsense answers.
Well in my Advaita (non-dual Hinduism=God and creation are not two) view Consciousness is the ground of reality and the material universe is a derivative of Consciousness. Consciousness then temporarily limits itself in finite forms until it liberates itself through knowledge of its Source (Moksha).Does the universe have consciousness?
Most likely not, at least everything we know show that you can't have consciousness without a brain. At least not that im aware of.This question may have been asked before, but
