I have been snookered! I thought this was going to be a horror movie. Wrong! My sons said the addition of Jay and Silent Bob should've warned me. I don't even know who they are!

Has anyone else seen this movie starring Matt Damon and Ben Affleck? If so, what did you think of it?

Love it, love it, love it! I have it and even posted a quote from it in the Favorite Movie Quote thread. I got my mother to watch it once and she absolutely loved it too and had to run out to buy a copy for herself.

I adore it. I was quite unsatisfied with how they dealt with Loki, though.
Yeah, I liked Loki, he was cool. It would have been nice if he didn't meet the end he did.

I know! He just wanted to go home... Bartleby wanted to go back to heaven to spite God. Loki gets killed, sent to hell, and Bartleby gets a freaking HUG before God kills him? What the heck, mate? Not fair. :149:

I only got to watch abit of it on TV. From what I saw it was pretty funny.

That is the only bumper sticker I have on my car. Except its black with white lettering.

Jensa, I believe he was just quoting Original Freak's post. That may be why it didn't come up.

What was vulgar about that bumper sticker? Just wondering. It didn't seem vulgar to me. I thought it was funny.

I loved that movie so much! It was definitely one of my favourites, that's for sure, and I'm historical not a Ben Afleck or Matt Damon fan.

But kind of consistent, no? Bartleby commented that God gives man chance after chance...but not the angels. I kind of felt like the hug was God's way of saying "I still love you"...but that didn't negate the fact that he had rebelled against God.

I've always known I had an irrevent sense of humor (and sure hope God does too :shout ) because I found this movie hysterically funny. I found it thought provoking as well.

Alanis Morrissette does a great "face of God".

Truely one of the best movies I've ever seen!! I especially liked Goerge Carlin as Cardinal Ignatious Glick.
