Dolphin converts

If dolphins were proven to have an intelligence equivalent to human beings, which religion should we convert them to and why?

Did Jesus die for the sins of men and dolphins?
Did Muhammed come as Prophet to men, jinn and dolphins?
Could Maitreya come as a dolphin?

If equivalent intellectually, I'd think that the dolphins would probably have better luck converting some humans to their dolphin religion...that or religious people would wage a "holy war" against the dolphins to irradiate their "radical" views. I doubt dolphins and humans would agree on all moral points due to their physical differences, so there would undoubtedly be some tension between the species' religions.

If intelligent dolphins are observing us, I would hope they would have learned by now not to go down that road...

Actually, Maitreya could come as a dolphin; there are Sutra passages to support such claims.

In the 2nd half of Chapter 12 of the Lotus Sutra, the daughter of the Dragon King (eastern dragons are water beings) attains enlightenment and expounds the Dharma to living beings in her world.

Why should anyone convert anyone, or anything for that matter? Most the problems in the world are from people not being content to keep their own personal beliefs to themselves. Why inflict anymore damage by inflicting anymore religious thought and opinions on people, or dolphins, when we, and them, can think for our own damn selves? The world would be a much nicer place if everyone could come to terms with the fact that not everyone is going to have the same ideas and concepts of deity and, therefore, everyone should just worry about their own relationship with whatever deity that may be.
