The trial hasn't started yet, I just read that it is being tried as a criminal case, not a civil suit and that depositions for the case are scheduled to start Sept 5 or 15, I don't remember, we are going to hear more about this, unless Trumps lawyers can manage to postpone the start till after the election, which is unfortunately a strong possibility.

No, it's a civil case. That means the burden of proof isn't required, which means it's an entirely different case as far as criminal charges. The statute of limitations on rape is never, that is why I don't trust the nature of this case. They could put him in jail if he ever did it, and moreover he'd be rotting in a jail cell until that time. That's why I don't trust the allegation. If it was real rape there would be a criminal case, and a civil case for damages as I've seen about 1000 times before.

Anyone can bring a civil case against you for anything they want. It doesn't imply guilt at all.
