Down ticket attack ads connecting Trump to other candidates as a negative...

Here in South Florida, I'm seeing a new phenomenon. Attack ads are comparing various Republican candidates to Trump. The most recent attack ad on Curbelo is a good example of this. It's not on Youtube yet, but it starts with "Marcos Curbello is a lot more like Trump than you think..." It's not the only ad like this.

In my life, I can't remember when a non-incumbent candidate has been used in such a negative way, Personally, I think it tragically funny.

It just illustrates how badly some of the republicans want to separate themselves from Trump. In many ways I can't blame them.

These are actually Democratic ads attacking Republicans. They are connecting Trump to Republican candidates. It's really kind of funny as the Republicans are trying to distance themselves and the Democrats are saying "not so fast there..."

I'm going to make an easy prediction: If Trump loses the second debate as decisively as he did the first, the down ticket attack ads will thrive and multiply.

That'a an easy prediction to make. However, I don't think it matters as much as him saying something stupid.

They already are.
Google "Kelly Ayotte thinks Trump is a role model for the children". She has tried hard to avoid tying herself to Trump. But she finally slipped a bit.

Well, the Republicans have been worried Trump would drag them down. One scenario I see happening is Trump wins the election and the Dems gain a majority control in Congress (with Indiana possibly even sending another), which will result in obstructionism far worse than the Reps gave Obama. And, honestly, I'll cheer them on all eights years to not let Trump appoint anyone to the Supreme Court, just because the Supreme Court has denied Pence twice now.

I'm sure Trump will loose just as decidedly, because I do not think Hillary will let him go if there is any chance of him not utterly loosing, and she will bait him.
Basically, we saw Trump get stupefied when he stood before a very powerful woman who wont take his ****, and stood next to him, and talked about him like a prosecutor presenting her case before the judge. His "I didn't say that" when he tried to interrupt Hillary when she saying Trump said global warming is a hoax made by the Chinese, it really showed how much she broke him, because that was not how Trump usually interrupts someone. I think he realized that night he is not dealing with a dainty gold digger, bumbling yes-men, or someone who cowers over the word "sue," but rather reality hockey-style checked him into the boards when he realized his opponent is a seasoned lawyer (and no "more expensive" lawyers to hide behind), hardened politician whose very good at the game (and he's never been on their level in their turf before), and one of the world's most powerful women (which must just be absolutely humiliating for someone who talks about women the way he does) all combined into one.

I'd bet that ad is being redone as we speak to include this afternoons Trumpism.

Every Republican candidate is going to be asked the question once again if they can still support Donald Trump after those comments. Every one of them is going to denounce those comments, that is easy. But then they are going to be asked how they can still support someone who said these disgusting things. That will be a hard question for some of them.

One of my other outcome predictions is Fox News is absolutely stunned that women so largely and heavily voted for Hillary, and not necessarily in support of Hillary but because women just really hate Trump, and also asking themselves will it even be possible to repair their destroyed image with Hispanics in time for 2020.
But, if Hillary does win, I don't see Congress changing too much, with Republicans retaining a slim majority.
Ultimately, I think people will realize a vote for Trump is a vote for a lunatic, it's been fun, but at least they can balance out Hillary.

The new adds are even better, "Do you think Trump is a good role model for our children?"

IDK, the rats are being shamed into going down with the ship by their own party.
she will bait him
She deserves the Fly Fishing Merit Badge for how artfully she gets him to rise to the smallest of baits, too!
