"Draw Muhammad day" should be a public holiday

I'm just joking about draw Muhammad day being a public holiday.

But if it were, I could see that totally being a good thing for the Free World.

Muslims should not have issues with non-muslims drawing a cartoon. We do not want that mentality in the Free World.

In my lifetime, I have never seen Christians riots all over the world over a cartoon.

There are lots of Jesus cartoons. some of those cartoons I find offensive, especially if there's something sexual in the picture.

However, I don't think it should be illegal. I don't see Christians rioting and killing people over a Jesus cartoon.

The name of Jesus Christ is used in vain far more than the name Muhammad is.

In fact, I hear Jesus Christ being blasphemed all the time in real life. I've never heard the name Muhammad used In vain the way Jesus is.

Yet Christians on average have simply grown up and they're not big babies anymore on this issue. Free Speech Trumps the issue.

They realize, we don't have to start bullying people for exercising freedom of speech.

A Christian might rebuke a person and ask "please don't use the lord's name in vain or show me those cartoons."

With Muslims on the other hand, I have seen riots that were almost worldwide, where people got killed over a cartoon.

This has the appearance of them being tough guys, but they're actually weaklings. They're trying to intimidate and bully people over something stupid like a cartoon. Bullies like that are a lot more common amongst insecure, immature, ignorant children than they are over mature adults by far.

Should we ever put a Muhammad cartoon in the face of a Muslim or in a mosque? No, we should never do that!

But the more Muslims try to intimidate and bully people over this issue, the more cartoons we should make.

Muslims either need to grow up or they need to leave the Free World if they have a problem with it.

If we stop making Muhammad cartoons because Muslims are rioting and killing people over them, then we are actually rewarding bad behavior!

That is like giving your child what they want because they threw a temper tantrum and acted violently. Also, what makes this so stupid, is nothing in the Quran that I recalled forbids Muhammad cartoons, and I have fully read the Quran twice.

If a Muslim cannot recognize that a cartoon is simply a cartoon and relatively harmless, that Muslim clearly prefers Dark Age Madness over democracy and Free Speech. Do we want such people in our country? Absolutely not! If they prefer dark aged theocracy over freedom, then they are not good for the Free World.

I used to be afraid of spiders, and I overcame my fear by being exposed and holding my fear. Perhaps Muslims being exposed to cartoons and bikinis, can make them less horrified of cartoons and bikinis?.

If Southpark offends them, then why are they watching South Park? if a woman in a mini skirt is so offensive to them, why can't they just take custody of their eyes?

There are many Christians who don't like to see a woman in a mini skirt either. Yet I don't see one Christian country that tells women they have to be veiled.

The Christians I have met, including monks in monasteries, simply believe that a man needs to act like a man and have custody of his eyes.

We can stop drawing Muhammad cartoons because it offends Muslims. The Next Step, is to Outlaw mini skirts because those offend Muslims as well. Many of these immigrants come from countries where they've never seen a woman in a mini skirt, only burqas.

They believe that an unveiled woman is asking to be sexually assaulted. That is why, when sweden opened the door to such people, their rape epidemic went up by over a thousand percent, and some people nicknamed Sweden the rape capital.

Germany had consequences like that scene, and
the German liberal government blamed the victims rather than point out that the assailants were Muslim or immigrants.

Point being, outlawing Muhammad cartoons as the Muslims have requested, is a step towards outlawing miniskirts and bikinis.

After all, mini skirts and bikinis lead to violence, and are a very serious crime!

Until these Muslims put their big boy pants on and act like adults, we have reason to discriminate against them coming to the Free World.

The text that Muslims follow as being without error, has more calls to violence and graphic torture, than the text that mussolini's fascists adhere to.

Do we want people in the Free World, who adhere to Mussolini's spiritual doctrine of fascism?

If a group is offended by pictures of Mussolini, or Hitler, should we stop making such pictures for fear of offending those who cherish them?. Do we want them in our country?

What if Republicans started rioting and killing people over Donald Trump cartoons? Stop making Trump cartoons right?

People that try to bully and intimidate to stop Muhammad cartoons, are people who hate democracy and freedom.

If a cartoon is causing people to Riot all over the globe and kill people, the cartoons have actually brought about a good result in this context: It taught us a valuable lesson. Muslims are on average a far greater threat to our liberties then people of other religions.

So why do so many secular liberals defend Islam while attacking Christianity? I have no clue! Christians have on average gotten with the 21st century. On average, they prefer freedom, even if it means cartoons of Jesus, blaspheming Jesus in public, and females wearing bikinis and mini skirts, rather than dressing like nuns.

Muhammad cartoons have actually accomplished something very good. It has made people's "True Colors" show up.

One good thing about seeing people's true colors, is it helps us to see that they are wolves in sheep's clothing after all. Such people hate democracy and Free Speech.

Hundreds of millions of people are subject to blasphemy laws, which imprison and kill people for not even blaspheming.

Hundreds of millions of people are subject to laws that say that it is blasphemy for a non-muslims to even recite the Quran in public.

Hundreds of millions of people are brainwashed, intimidated, bullied, forced to dress a certain way, and forced to live their whole lives under dark aged theocracy, in the 21st century . How many of these laws and countries are predominantly Christian?

Those people cannot be integrated into our society.
Pakistan exist, because Hindus and Muslims could not get along, so it had to be divided.

Lebanon had a Christian majority, and then when immigration lead to a muslim-majority, a brutal Civil War took place.

I see this time and time again. The higher the Muslim population gets, the more difficult it becomes for non-muslims to have liberties. The more Sharia law is practiced, and the more bullying and intimidating and sexual assaults become.

Muslims have the highest birth rate of any religion. This combined with immigration could lead to European countries becoming like Lebanon or like India was, where it had to be divided and the creation of Pakistan became necessary.

Some of these European countries may need to divide or cease to exist, sort of like Yugoslavia ceased to exist.

The Muslims who love democracy are the Muslims who are not following the Quran or living like the Prophet Muhammad. Muhammad hated democracie's virtues. He destroyed shrines and images that were sacred to the non-muslim Meccans , that he conquered through bloodshed.

He outlawed the freedoms that we love dearly, cut off heads like a terrorist, and wrote out fantasies of graphic torture for those who oppose him.

The Muslim countries these days, including the Middle East, were Christian countries that the Muslims conquered with force and bloodshed.

if anything, women in mini skirts and Muhammad cartoons could convince radical Muslims to stay in a radical country rather than immigrate to the Free World, and bully people to conform to their dark aged standards.

One of the reasons I like Donald Trump, has has to do with Obama saying, "we should not call ISIS radical Islamic terrorists because they hijacked a peaceful religion."

Americans believed such stupidity and ignorance, because most Americans have actually never studied Islam or read the Quran.

Hearing such ignorance come from the president of the United States, just makes me and a lot of other Americans want to vote for the candidate who is least politically correct.

This has to do with how badly political correctness is harming Europe.

I personally have suffered because of political correctness. I don't see people being persecuted under Donald Trump. Being a poor unemployed man, I should be one of Donald Trump's victims. I have yet to see an example in real life of people being persecuted by Donald Trump's thugs.

Many people suffer in the Free World as a result of people like Obama who refused to speak the truth, and cover things up.

Europeans in the government are doing the same thing, and many people suffer as a result. Europeans are blaming the victims rather rather then say something that would indicate multiculturalism and immigration is harming their people.

I live in a high Muslim population, and we just elected a Muslim from Mogadishu Somalia.

Muslims under Donald Trump's regime , I see treated with nothing but respect.

Muslims get to walk around in their burkas, and people are very polite to them. Some of them have everything covered but their eyes, and I don't see them ever getting criticized.

After Charlie hebdo lost much of their staff to Islamic terrorists, they made a Muhammad cartoon in defiance. They courageously did the right thing and it sold millions of copies.

I consider that Charlie hebdo victims to be martyrs of free speech. I consider "draw Mohammad day", to be honoring the dead, and honoring those who have suffered for the existence of free speech.

I consider it to honor the many people who have died, been imprisoned, or sacrificed over depictions of Muhammad.

Thoughts?

There is no evidence that Donald Trump is persecuting them. I'm sure you can provide a link that would indicate that, but I judge more based on what I'm seeing in real life, especially with how dishonest and biased the media is.

I've heard people say in real life, that Donald Trump is turning America into Nazi Germany. I have not seen a shred of evidence of this in real life. All of the evidence says that claim is so ridiculously preposterous, it's hard to even believe that someone would say that.

Once the media starts saying nothing but positive things about Donald Trump, and I see evidence of people being persecuted by his policies and thugs, it is then that I will radically change my views of the man.

I love illegal immigrants, but they also have done a lot of damage. All they have to do is respect American laws and enter legally.

Is it wrong to discriminate against Muslims? Sometimes, but it is also a common sense survival instinct.

Martin Luther King day is a Holiday. It should be. I have a picture of King on my wall, so I'm not bashing it.

However, the free world, especially France, has just as much reason to have "Charlie Hebdo day". Those were also martyrs for freedom and equal rights.

This raises an interesting question. Muslims believe that Jesus is a prophet of Islam and there are pictures of Jesus all over the world. Where's the outrage from those Muslims who oppose drawings of Muhammad?

I don't think making it a public holiday is a good idea.
It doesn't commemorate anything important.
It's really just being a dick to Muslims.
Do it if you want, just keep the government out of it.

Yea, it is written in the Book of Cyril...
I agree with you. There is no such thing as the right to not be offended. In fact, freedom of speech is specifically about protecting unpopular and potentially offensive speech, because non-offensive speech doesn't need protection.
True. Although it's worth noting that offending people for the sake of being offensive is pretty hard to justify.

Maybe we should have a public holiday called "Be a Dick to People in Order to Accomplish Nothing" Day.

Maybe a good compromise having a public holiday called "Muhammad Day". So we get used to the future F.Timmermans planned for Europe
Of course no drawing, maybe even go pork free that day. We do have holidays of other religions. I think even sugar holiday of Islam already.

Timmermans of the EU decided to accept the coming years 60 million Muslims into Europe [his obsession of diversity]. Strange he knows the number already, maybe a deal?
[This F.Timmermans is Dutch. This obsession makes no sense to me. +60 million means + 10% Muslims, so Holland will have 20% Muslims. Muhammad day is the least we can do]

It's not necessarily just to offend people, it's also to make people laugh. Comedians make a living off of playfully mocking various ideas, concepts, and sometimes people. Why should religious beliefs be given any more special treatment than any other concepts? I think it's hilarious when people mock ANY religion or religious figure, and most of them deserve plenty of ridicule.

I'm not offended in the least by people who mock Muhammed and Islam. I am offended by the Muslims who killed the cartoonists for mocking their prophet.

It's my statement, don't presume to tell me what I mean.

That doesn't negate anything he said

He said it accomplishes nothing to make "Draw Muhammad day" a national holiday. But I would argue that it accomplishes something, because it shows that as a society, we're strong enough not to let some violent zealots get in the way of our freedom of speech and expression. I don't actually agree with making it a Federally-recognized holiday, though. But I like the idea of recognizing a day like this as a cultural holiday.

You're entitled to your opinion, I guess.
