Dream Jobs

Lady Crimson

what is your dream job?

I would love to become a writer and i'm already working on a book...i have 62 A4 pages right now but i'm hoping to pass 200. I would also love to become the drummer of a semi famous metal or jazz/swing band. I have two years of drumming experience right now and i'll get a diploma when i'm done with my third year. :jiggy: What do you think of my dream jobs? *quite curios to find out what people think of them*

If I could have my time again, I'd go into electronic engineering - the only reason I didn't was because I wasted time having fun at college. Didn't get me any exams, but I learned a lot! - it's a long story I was a bit like a novice let out of a convent!:jiggy:

My dream job is to build a Temple, and meditation center where I teach Spiritual Vigilance and Martial arts. And do seminars all of the country, and the world teaching others.

i'd be one of those cool teachers that let you read interesting, risque books and encouraged dissent and poor grammar.

I'm already have my dream job. It may sound corny, but it's true. I remember being little, sitting in my brother's room with him while he played me The Stooges Funhouse album and The Ramones self-titled album...from that moment on, I knew I wanted to own and write for a music mag, and that's what I do. A further dream, however, would be for my mag to be distributed and read worldwide. That would be cool.

My dream job? Well, it's really not so much a job as a function. I want to be able to help people learn more, especially about Christianity, the Bible, and theology. That can cover a wide range of things, and I could very easily do it while working at Allsup's. I'm usually pretty happy doing that no matter my situation (well, that and being able to read on the side).

My dream job is to do nothing but work with parrots all day. Cockatoos, Amazons, conures, lorikeets, budgies... the whole she-bang.

I think youre dream jobs sound great, Lady Crimson! :) Part of the reason is because they overlap with mine. I've been working on a book too - a novel about Lucifer. I know that it's a good story; I just worry whether I have the talent to bring it to life.

My second dream job, if I could find someone to pay me to do it, would be to try to promote dialogue between scientists and religionists. When I left science a couple of years ago to study religion, it was with this intent - to get well versed enough in religion - several different religions but particularly Christianity - so that I could genuinely understand from these different points of view. I've never been sure that anyone will pay me to do this, and frankly now I'm not even sure that I can make any difference, but that was the plan.
