So is drug abuse, and I can't help but notice that you don't have a solution to propose for that. Why should I believe that the war on drugs isn't the lesser evil?
Huffing paint is a problem as well, for a minority of the population (just like drug abuse). Would you suggest we come up with a "solution" that would probably call for more laws and the controlled sale/use of paint?

You can't stop people from abusing their bodies. Filling the world up with laws to mold a world that _you_ think is best isn't the answer.

Then again, just because it works somewhere else doesn't necessarily mean it would work here. That being said, I think it would be stupid _not_ to legalize marijuana and hemp in general.

The amount of positive benefits surely outweighs the negative. But I think that's why we're seeing Prop19 being pushed so hard an Cali. It simply would be a net benefit to legalize, much as it was to legalize alcohol.
Yes and No, I think human behavior towards bthis stuff will be the same across the board. Either way we can use it as an example to try it at least. If it works elsewhere, then there is achance it could work here. We will never know until we try....

If CA succeeds, which I think they will. Then it will eb adomino affect, and more states will follow. I don't even think it will be 2 years till marijuana is legal here.:clap

One can only hope! I personally know of people who would benefit from its use.

Well I think the billions we waste in tas dollars for the war on drugs will help everyone. I think taking the power out of the dealers and gansg and mafias across America will help everyone. These orginizations cannot thrive without their drug money, so they will disperse. I think that marijuana would be cheaper, leaving those who want to use more money to save or put back into the economy. I think that the governement will make billions in tax revenue to help our debt and economy. I think it will be safer and therefor save more lives by taking the danger out of buying and using. I think we will see a reduction in crime rate across the board, that means ALL CRIMES!!!

All in all I think everyone in America will beneift one way or another.....
