I'm sure that Trump thinks he too is honest & blunt.

This reminds me of my father.
He was often cruel to people, & would justify it as...
"Well it's the truth!"
Some things needn't be said.
And things which need to be said, can be done
so more effectively when tempered with civility.

We've been trying civility for years now. I always start with civility, and I put up with loads of malarky before I escalate. But being polite about dump is a horse that left the barn a loooong time ago.
