Dying in your sleep

I'm not sure I would want to say "Goodbye" - they would either start crying (Which would make me feel awful) - or look totally non-plussed (which would make me feel unloved) - either way, I don't think I'd want to be put in that position.

I'm not sure which would be a better way to die... in sleep or awake. It would be more confusing if I died while asleep, but I don't think I'd like to know what's happening to me, either...

I'd definitly rather die when I was awake (though in a peaceful way). If I knew I was dying, I could do something theatrical or funny, or something to make my death memorable, rahter than jsut that whole "oh, she died in her sleep, just like everybody else does" rutine.

When you've seen people you love die a death from cancer where they are slowly eaten away until there is nothing left but skin and bones trust me I'll take dying in my sleep over going that way any day!!

I forget who, but someones last words on thier death bed was "I don't feel good." Its one of those things that are sad but slightly humorous in an odd way. I have a slightly twisted since of humor, so maybe Im one of the few think that.

I really don't care if I die awake or asleep. Im sure its very similiar, as you would see the same things.

I've died many times in my dreams where i'm running from something, then after death (sometimes with pain), I find myself watching everything from a third person omniscient view from up above. I stopped trying to make sense of dreams and just rather embaraced it as a vacation/movie each night.

I used to have dreams like that alot. I have been pushed off buildings, shot, bombed, blown up, shot several times, burned many times, and shot and burned some more times. Wonder if its an indication on how im going to really die?
