Election Fraud Power Point

Reports are that Sean Hannity knew of talk among trump advisors to invoke the 25th amendment. There was talk of removing trump on Jan 6th.

This suggests that many in the upper ranks of the USA government considered trump the cause of Jan 6, and needed to remove him.

I think trump is in serious trouble. The investigations going on in Georgia are quite serious. This on top of the fraud investigation going on in New York.

Out of curiosity (I’m not an American) what charges could befall Trump if he’s found guilty of whatever they’re investigating? Fraud in some capacity I assume

In Georgia it is election fraud, ironically. He was trying to pressure election officials to "find" him just enough votes for him to win that state's electors. Of course the election officials were ethical republicans and refused his coercion. A federal attorney resigned in response to trump's pressure on various state officials.

And it appears trump committed crimes in instigating the Jan 6 riots. That he was president affords him certain protections, but more is coming out that there was a conspiracy to obstruct congress. The president has no authority to do this as it is a separate power in government.

Citizens are learning more and more, and it is very damning of those who surrounded trump. The whole White House counsels office was about to resign. That is all the lawyers around trump. Trump had to denounce the Jan 6 riot for him to stop them resigning.

Trump knew what was going on. He liked it.

Let's note that most of the investigation has been private. Just little bits are being released to the public. There will be public hearings soon, and the public will learn more about what insiders and trump knew. It appears to be that most all of trump insiders, including members of congress, knew about stopping the election certification. Oddly it was Pence who did his duty, and did so ONLY after talking to a previous VP. Pence was the only smart one of the bunch.

Damn that’s crazy!

Investigations. The left has been good with that stuff. Private ones too. We'll I'll be.

I'm sure the right is quaking in their boots now.

He also knew better than to get in the car they wanted him to get into. He refused and stayed in the underground parking garage.

When Hillary was called to testify about Benghazi, and she showed up. Bill Clinton showed up with testimony in the Lewinsky scandal. So, why are the higher up Pubs being such cowards? The Constitution says that Congress has oversight powers-- oh, I forgot that 40% of Pubs survey say they believe more in Trump than the Constitution.

The Pubs long have talked loyalty to "law & order" and "family values", but what they are showing is that this current brand of Pubs have chosen to defecate on both.

Given that many republicans are cooperating with the committee and subpoenas, it's seems you are correct. There are the hardliners, like Bannon, who are trying to defy their legal obligations. And of course trump and his kids, except Eric, are defying subpoenas and documents requests. They are obviously trying to delay the process in case republicans take back the House in November and the investigations are cancelled.

But Liz Cheney is doing an excellent job of representing the ethics republicans have abandoned, and conservative voters will have to pay attention when the hammer comes down on the corrupt members of the party.

The question is whether conservative voters will raise their ethics and prefer ethical candidates over the very poor quality people they are electing. Perhaps you can give us your attitude about ethics in the GOP, and what you will demand their ethics be going forwards, especially where it comes to elections.

I don't think I'd show up before a hostile congress. First they can find a way to use anything you say against you. Second, they can make your life quite miserable. Third, I see little reason to trust a politician with personal information. If I could find a way to avoid testifying to congress, I certainly would, whether I had anything to hide or not. Too much political ambition with them political folks.

If you want to consider that cowardice, I'm ok with that.

Susan McDougal served 18 months for ignoring a subpoena to testify in the Whitewater case. I'd like to see some of that handed out to those defying Jan. 6 committee subpoenas.

May have been the better option since she was found not guilty in the end and still retain the favor of the Clintons.

She still served the time. The GOP had no problem with her serving time when they were running the Whitewater investigation, so let's get going on those defying Jan. 6 subpoenas.

Actually, I didn't realize there was a hold up.
Why do you think this is?
