Heyas, just was reading another thread with some talk about what is going to happen on the supposed "End of Days" and I was wondering. This poll is only for those who believe in some form of prophesied End of Days: Armaggedon, Revelation, Ragnarok, whatever.

Do you believe the End of Days is likely to occur during your lifetime? Why or why not?

I chose the mysterious "Mysterious Third Option," because I think there will be an "End of Days" of sort in my life-time, but not the kind most people seem to be hoping to occur.

When the sun starts to expand, engulfing the earth as it does...In a few billion years. Hopefully man will have progressed and moved to other planet/s by then.

I believe that there will be an end of days pretty soon but probably (and hopefully) not in my lifetime. I don't want to go too far out on a limb but seems plausible that based on the events that are taking place today that I would take a guess at around 100 years.

Define "End of Days", the end of homo sapiens may well be a good thing for other life forms on earth.

the end of days is simply the end of an age

are we at this point, you bet! will we see it in our lifetime, it is knocking on our door right now!

not convinced? look at the prophecies (and i mean more than bibical prophcies) and look at what is going on in the world today here are some examples
nephilim are being created i.e. genetic labs creating things that are not natural
there are rumors of war
police state laws including concentration camps are here in the u.s. of a.
the earth is going through obvious changes
and these are only to name a few

Hi!

People alive today may well see the end-time events as described in the Bible. I may not, but then I may--getting old, cough, cough...We know the season, yet not the day nor hour...watch and pray!

Cheers!

Not, There was an Old Testament verse where God promised something for 1,000 generations. This was about 3,000 years ago. Figure 20 years for one generation and 1,000 generations would be 20,000 years. We might have about 17,000 years to go. Perhaps.

That is right at what I figured when I was still a Christian.

Defective poll: doesn't allow for our belief that these times have already come and gone (and are not the least "mysterious!"
