I did not read the article but I would assume the cult is not fully aware of the importance CO2 for plant life, but rather treats CO2 as a poison and scourge of the earth. They need more science education rather than be so dependent on fake news for their science. Fake news is puffing up Harris and the same cult buys into that scam, too.

Plant life uses solar energy to turn CO2 and water into sugars. It is called photosynthesis. This becomes the main plant energy source used to make plant materials; plants grow, that feeds all the vegetarian animals. CO2 is critical to life on earth. More CO2 in the atmosphere is actually to the benefits of plants and animals. Only whiny humans and Con Artists see this as a problem. The real problem is black box science uses the same math as political science, making hard to tell where science and politics begin and end. This is where fake news comes in. They also use black box math to test their lies on focus groups to see which lies work best on Liberals. Fake Harris appears to work big time.

When CO2 levels rise more plants grow and the same plants grow faster. That means more animal food. CO2 will increase the global temperature, but this also cause more water to enter the atmosphere, which means more fresh water rain to water all the extra plants that feed all the animals. Where I live, in NE USA, we have been bumped up in terms of our grow zone, which means more things now grow over a longer summer. Should I be panicking that more plants can now grow bigger? What I also noticed is we do not get the same number of intense thunderstorms we used to get, since the gradient between hot and cold is less.

Science is based on reason, not social status, so I don't think they would listen. It a strange world where cows are an environmental hazard and wind turbines are environmentally approved.

It's interesting how you try to make it out that the science deniers are not the ones needing some education.

No one see it as a problem. There are however some who either through ignorance or evil intent lie about the base problem of climate change saying those who understand it vilify the carbon cycle and not the actual problem of an over production of greenhouse gases.

While increases in CO2 levels can make plants grow larger and faster it also reduces the nutritional value of the plants and interferes with plants resistance to disease.

CO2 will increase the global temperature, but this also cause more water to enter the atmosphere, which means more fresh water rain to water all the extra plants that feed all the animals.

In some places and in others it will lead to droughts.
