DS: Have you been making your picks on superbru aswell?

I was about to make my predictions there, but then stopped and decided not to hold my breath for any game's outcome. I mean, who would have thought that Denmark would beat the Netherlands, or that Italy could draw against Spain yesterday? :p

not many people. You're currently bottom though and are doing worse than you would be if you had made your predictions :p. Besides, making predictions makes the games more tense :D

Welbeck scored the winning goal for England yesterday. Manchester United players at work. :D

It was a good finish. Carroll and Welbeck proved that Rooney is over rated yesterday and that we don't need him :p

England 3 - 2 Sweden

good game I thought.

draw needed against Ukraine now.

I'd prefer to hammer them 3 or 4 nil. Just to make sure we top the group.

I think that is unlikely, and a draw would actually be a good result.

Can you really see Carroll or Welback doing much damage against Spain though, for sure Rooney would be needed then.

and Walcott. IMO

I recon we'll beat Ukraine. The only question is by how many

I can see Welbeck and Carroll doing plenty of damage given the right tactics. Rooney or Defoe might be needed for some extra pace though.

Walcott could be key to that. Especially with Milners form (he's been pretty bad)

some of the players, like Milner, I agree, are not quite up to scratch.

just shows how short we are of talent when we have to pick players such as that.

also, people like Parker, Carroll, Young, Chamberlain and maybe Hart, all look a little out of their depth here.

but seriously, hoping to hammer Ukraine in their own country is not so likely, I'm sure.

who is going to slot the ball in for us?

The only thing Milner is good for is occasionally playing in superb crosses. Shame he doesn't do it often enough.

Parker has been playing well, Hart is one of the best keepers in the world (just a bit off colour atm), Chamberlain is an up and coming talent and Young is good too. Carroll is just poor. Ever since he joined Liverpool he's been very average.

Most of our players can score goals. Although we do need a Striker who scores consistently (like a Michael Owen or Alan Shearer).

I reckon England will win 2-1 or 2-0
