They're ready for civil war...to kill if they don't
get their way by the loyal opposition's submission?
Military tribunals...suppression of the press...political
assassinations...the things Trump spoke for.

The Heritage Foundation and its president, Kevin Roberts, are facing blowback in the wake of his comment about an ongoing second American revolution that will “remain bloodless if the left allows it to be.”

That rhetoric has been out there, growing in intensity, for decades...but it's only since Trump that it has finally boiled up to being openly embraced by "the mainstream". But also recognize that what we're calling the mainstream today was the reactionary right forty years ago, and moderate/centrist Pubs have been largely purged from the party and the media.

Seems to have nothing to do with Trump. There's always going to be groups about saying stuff.

Twilight Hue

Twilight, not bright nor dark, good nor bad.
Trump is of course the result of Democrats fault for decades pushing people around and telling them what they can and cannot do in thus country and are responsible for open attacks on freedom and liberty.

People are just now surprised that talk of civil war is happening?

Conservative media like Fox is much more responsible for the hatred, paranoia and anger.
And most of the stuff they talk about isn't even true.
Decades and decades of panic mongering language takes its toll

It's selfishness and stupidity completely running amok. No wonder Donald Trump is their mascot. He is the poster-boy for gross selfishness and stupidity. And thanks to the complete moral failure of capitalist culture, we now have a nation with many millions of citizens that are just as stupid and selfish as he is.

Care to give examples of these?

Could some of these things be?....
1. - Don't try to hold some of our citizens as "second class", i.e. Women; Blacks; Immigrants (legal or illegal); etc....etc...
2. - We should try to study how many people are killed with firearms each year, and the circumstances in each, so that we have a rational set of facts to work with.
3. - The scientific community advises us as to Climate Change, vaccinations and diseases, the safety of diets and smoking and pollution; and we should listen to them rather than prattling off about fanatical nonsense.
4. - Another Civil War would be bad for all of us.
5. - In the modern age of easy international travel and communication; a laisse faire attitude and national policy is just plain stupid/suicidal.
6. - Green tech is better than clinging to out-dated archaic garbage. It's cleaner, cheaper, leads to better educations, and a decrease in man-made Global Warming.
7. - etc...etc.. and just about everything else that is clear as day to anyone not purposefully being an intentional ****head.

 Which ones exactly are so nefarious to shove down your throats inform you of, even if you don't like the taste of the medicine?

Of course some of the biggest "sins" on the left would be
1. - Take the ill-gotten outrageous wealth from the uber-wealthy aristocrats, and spend it on infrastructure of our nation, so that we peasants can benefit from the wealth of our nation.
2. - Supporting freedom of religious expression - no matter the religion.
3. - Supporting equality of all our people.
4. - Supporting the defense of our nation, including the southern border, via modernizing  .... not some ignoramus "wall" that has already been perforated in so many places. As well as funding better/more efficient processing of those hoping for refugee status.

But its really the first one that the plutocrats/aristocrats send their $$billions$$ to suppress through media and bribed politicians.

The right seems ripe for another Civil War that they falsely (ignorantly) call another "Revolutionary War". But they're too blinded to understand the irony. :(

Bear in mind that he's been the decade long
radical seeking to expand governmental power,
& to end progressive politics. More mainstream
conservatives haven't been on the violent end
of that spectrum. Now they begin to join.
Trump leads their charge.

I don't think there will be an outright civil war, but it might more of a civil "cold war" of sorts. Some state and local governments might "go rogue." If it comes to a shooting war, that's the military's bailiwick. It will ultimately depend upon which way they go.

Yes, Trump says he "doesn't know who is behind" Project 2025. The Heritage Foundation, Federalist Society and Trump have been tight for years. He knows precisely what all this is about. He's only ducking because it might hurt his campaign. Once he wins, they'll all be buddy-buddies again, and America will change forever.

1) I suppose second class really means creating protected classes by which distinct advantages are promoted and creates disadvantages on others using forceful means on others and replacing otherwise more qualified and capable people with those lesser qualified and capable based soley on physical and ethnic characteristics and not ability. Aka affirmative action. That's number one for you.

2) Pretty simple. It's the redistribution by force to intentionally disable lawful citizens of their 2nd amendment rights under guise it's to prevent unlawful citizens from acquiring firearms. It's a mass attack on the 2nd amendment. So much for two.

3)Llistening to advice and educational scientific proofs is one thing to definitely be encouraged , but to actually attack people so livelihoods and businesses and means of support are systematically destroyed in the process is a good thing? it's not encouraged. Three down.

4) Yep it would most certainly be a bad thing but so is pushing people to the point it feels like it's right for retaliation because of unwanted pushing and shoving. People have their limits and a breaking point. Will Democrats respect that and try to diffuse things by backing off? Time will tell. On to the next one.

5) it's also intolerance to try to fit people into a model that ony suits ones view and not another by trying to force compliance to just one viewpoint. . It's stupid and agree, suicidal to think that it can equally work. On to six.

6) Actually its not fossil that's outdated. It's superior. Keep forcing subordinate technology on people , control means of production, and watch what happens. You ought to know the saying about a better mousetrap and people beating a path to one's door. Hell, I'll drop fossil in a heartbeat if something is actually better. (And cheaper. ) until then ta ta to seven.

7) And now the truth of a person's opinion on others truth be told. Transparencies are good though.

~Well there are your counterpoints on the taste of ones own medicine. Ciao. Off to the Copacabana!

So important you had to post it twice, eh?

Poor, poor battered Republicans. Since 1995 (30 years), the Republicans have held the House for 16 years, the Democrats for 14, and Republicans have held the Senate for 22 years, Democrats for 8 years.

Clearly, then, if the Republicans are feeling pushed around, it must be because they weren't using the power advantage that they had.

He's the representation of all they hold dear: greed, selfishness, ignorance, arrogance, bigotry, and total disregard for anyone but oneself. The perfect consumer citizen, created by several centuries of immoral capitalist indoctrination and commercial industrial advertising.

Some people have extremely short memories. I'll post to help keep those experiencing chronic memory loss sharp as a tack. Plus years in rule dosent remotely equal years spent mandating. As well as you know , mandaters will mandate.

Since Republicans in your view have been in power longer, that shows you who the more preferable and stable party is. Don't you think?

Not at all. The Democrats held the House for 40 years straight from 1955 to 1995. And the Senate for 34 years during the same period. Republicans have won the popular vote in Presidential elections exactly once since 1992 (32 years).
