isn't evolution in the bible? adam and eve ate the forbidden fruit and evolved in another state than they were originaly. doesn't the bible clearly say they evolved?
the story isn't to be taken literally. it describes in a mythological tale the evolution of humans.I'm not sure you understand what evolution means.

it means they evolved because they change their diet. they ate something of not the ordinary.Yes, but normally evolution doesn't involve magical fruit.

but not only adam and eve evolved but their children too and all the animals.Evolution also doesn't happen to individuals, but to populations. So what you're describing still doesn't actually resemble evolution, but a straw man version of it.
but not only adam and eve evolved but their children too and all the animals.
i think the fruit is important. what we eat defines us.Even if that's true(it's still part of a mythological story) it wasn't due to them eating a magical fruit. I repeat my original claim: I don't think you understand what evolution means.
i think the fruit is important.
what we eat defines us.
population is the sum of individuals and adam and eve are the very first of the many. and dietary is important, more important than what we may think. what we eat enters our bodies and changes it.That's because you don't understand evolution. We already established that individuals don't evolve, populations do. So how does an individual eating a single apple have anything to do with evolution? Please do explain.
That is not an universal fact. I say our actions define us. And even my view of that is subjective.

i think he has a point , since the total population of Eden garden was 4 if we include the snake.Evolution also doesn't happen to individuals, but to populations. So what you're describing still doesn't actually resemble evolution, but a straw man version of it.
i think he has a point , since the total population of Eden garden was 4 if we include the snake.
it was a talking snake , so the snake de evolved if thats even a wordWhy would we include the snake? I don't think you understand how evolution works.
it was a talking snake , so the snake de evolved if thats even a word
i think you take the story of eden too literaly and not symbolic.
i totally understand where you are coming from , but honestly that wasn't the message in any way.i think you take the story of eden too literaly and not symbolic.
this might interest you...Gotcha.
Problem: Evolution isn't exactly symbolic. So i think it's your mistake in thinking symbolic + literal should mix to begin with.
Not to mention this is the Evolution vs Creationism forum. Creationism is NOT symbolic. It's literal.
i view creationism as symbolic. Not to mention this is the Evolution vs Creationism forum. Creationism is NOT symbolic. It's literal.
