Being classified as mammals doesn't mean that you and the dog are one.
Can't you just say yes or no?
Do you disagree that we are mammals, tetrapods or vertebrates?

Apes are not dogs.But apes.
Apes are not dogs.

:biglaugh:
Yes or No
No we aren't mammals but are classified as mammals.
So you don't agree that we're mammals?
What about tetrapods or vertebrates?
Classifying and grouping isn't what we are.
We are HUMANS.
You do realize that "humans" is a group, right?
Apes are represented by the superfamily hominoidea. Homo sapiens is in that superfamily. Taxonomically, we are apes. Chimpanzees are more closely related to humans genetically than they are to gorillas. So if gorillas and chimps are both apes, humans would have to be apes too (unless, of course, one was to argue that chimps are not apes). It's not like it matters that much. Ape is just a label used for biological classification. It doesn't change what we are or are not.I agree
And humans are not apes, is it that hard to understand.

I'm curious, do you deny that we have a backbone? Would that not make us vertebrates?
Theistic evolutionists believe we are apes too (well, at least some of us do). It's not an atheist thing. If we are not apes, then to what superfamily do we belong? You also didn't answer my question about us being vertebrates. Also, do you accept that humans are multicellular? Do you accept that we are eukaryotes?Yes i agree that atheists believe that they are apes but creationists including me don't agree that they are apes but humans.

This is the second time you've said that. Not a single person here has claimed that humans are dogs and you know it.Being classified as vertebrate doesn't mean that you and the dog are one.

So you do agree that we are vertebrates?
Because I'm trying to see if you accept any of the biological classification given to humans. Saying that two species are both vertebrates is not the same as saying they are both the same thing. Both scarlet kingsnakes and Siberian tigers are vertebrates but nobody would argue that they are the same thing just because they both have backbones. And we were talking about apes and you brought vertebrates to the discussion,
And i brought the dog as a member of the vertebrates.
It is not a question of atheists and religionists, nor is it a matter of belief; and indeed we are all humans, one species from among the great apes. Of that there is not question, this is confirmed by many, many independent methodologies.Yes i agree that atheists believe that they are apes but creationists including me don't agree that they are apes but humans.
