Classifications are for reasons. Humans are labeled as apes, mammals, vertebrates and animals depending on what grouping your looking at.Those are called electronic devices but the radio isn't similar to the computer.
Human isn't similar to the rat even though their maker is one and even though that they are classified in one group.
Animals other than humans can invent, lots of humans can't write and read.I am talking about intelligence and not sex organs.
Can animals invent,write and read.
Animals other than humans can invent, lots of humans can't write and read.
Animals did invent what ?
We share common heritage because the maker is one.
So the discussion still remains hung up on deciding if we humans have evolved more so than the rest of the animal kingdom.....
As if we are attempting to deny our own humanity!......really?
Evolution versus creation and we are headed to what?
Denying anything Greater?
We humans are top of the line life form?
and here we are making comparisons to other mammals as if there is no difference!
I say Man has indeed diverged from the rest of the animal kingdom.
(and here I am, having to state the obvious.)
I further say, that divergence happened suddenly.
For several thousand years discussion has been attempted to explain how.
I find it remarkable that on old piece of scripture has one plausible account...
written centuries before we 'apes' could see the technique as possible.
How is it remarkable that an ancient account appears to reflect perfectly an almost complete ignorance of biology - as you would expect?
Nay!
Anesthesia, surgery, cloning, genetic manipulation.
All in one account!
A chosen specimen, isolated and controlled environment, alteration and test.
Experimentation....all in one account!
Except for the fact that there is no mention whatsoever of aneasthesia, surgery, cloning or genetic manipulation.
Read it again.
Buddy, if you think it mentions any of those things - you need to read it yourself.
Other animals utilize tools. Birds invented a nest.
A group of chimps figured out fire. Silly chimps should have been told thats only for humans.
Congo: A Group of Chimpanzees Seem to Have Mastered Fire*|*
Did the bird invent the nest by knowledge and thinking or an innate instinct or a DNA issue ?
