Existence

Jimmy

King Phenomenon
Has it always been here uninterrupted? Will it always be? I say it’s cyclical; ending and beginning again, but what could be mighty enough to bring down the whole shebang? I wonder… If I believe this it only stands to reason that a new universe would be the same universe only at an earlier time. Essentially it’s like time travel but not really because it’s a new existence. Would the same things happen? Probably. Would I live the same life again? Probably. Weird s#*t but hopeful s#*t. Everlasting life sounds cool to me.

Sounds cool to me, too.

I just look at existence at face value, and base it on what I can observe and what can be observed through the various instrumentation humans have at their disposal. As a human, it is self-evident to me that, at the very least, I exist. I appear to be some kind of semi-flexible bag full of water, with some bones, tissue, and organs which somehow cause it to come together and allow my brain to be self-aware and thinking about all of this. Whatever biological organism I seem to exist in requires a regular supply of food, water, and air to go on existing - or else I cease to exist. In any case, I will cease to exist at some point anyway, which is what happens to all living things. But in the meantime, I know that I exist in a place which has the basic items for survival available, and this place is reportedly a sphere revolving around a larger fiery object, a star, which exists in a galaxy full of stars and other spheres like the one I exist on. And there are countless other galaxies out there beyond ours, none of which we can ever really go to or visit.

Our "existence" as humans, seems to be confined to this particular place, this sphere floating through a vast emptiness that has some stars and other spheres like ours. Our existence is temporary walking bags of water, on a sphere of water and rock, inside a bubble of air, circling around a large fireball. The fact that there's anything resembling life at all on our planet seems unique, as we can't seem to find anything like it on other planets. Of course, it's not like we can actually go to any other planets - not yet anyway. We're stuck here for the time being, and nobody really seems to want to leave in any case.

That's existence in this universe, at least from what I can tell so far.
