Friend Sunstone's last two threads have been related to mystical experiences; why, how etc.

Personally find that if am able to be aware of breathing at all times and also able very very deeply the evolution of the being that am turns to a revolution meaning the being is more in control over the mind which acted/reacted mechanically and in a closed manner earlier to now act/respond consciously and openly without the mind coming in between in any way.

Life hereon is mystical if viewed so or else friend YmirGF/Paul may find it just like another day in office!

Only till the awareness is intact! or it falls back to revolution which is there in any case.

They are indirect methods as your awareness is not on the breathing which is directly linked with living. Death means there is no breathing.

What do you make of the cautions against the dangers of pride inherent to self-power methods?

Since there is no intent of gaining any power or anything over anyone as its all one [in understanding] the mind is always under consciousness or watchfullness and so the mind taking control will defeat the very purpose/objective of connecting.

Ofcourse past karma can always catch up in such case one would have to start all over again to regain paradise.
