Ive met several nice people here as well as a few ********.
With that said there are a very few posters here that constantly tell you that you don't know, don't have clue, don't understand, etc. Constantly poking a stick at ya to get a rise.
That behavior shouldn't be tolerated but is on several occasions. Sometimes I poke back after constant posts spouting that stuff off. I know better but it gets old.
Other forums I participate in don't tolerate that at all. Have a good a one folks.

And mods, @Polymath257 @JustGeorge @SomeRandom and others. If you could just go ahead and complety delete my profile account from this site. Thank you.

I really think that epistemic non-cognitivism (ETA: and by that I mean, epistemic anti-realism such as epistemological nihilism) has no place in any form of discussion, because it is essentially a philosophical representation of bad-faith debate.

If you can't admit that there is a concrete reality and that we can know things about it, then conversation with you is impossible. Facts no longer exist, and so inferences are impossible, making all speech cognitively meaningless.

I think it should be viewed as a form of trolling. Nothing productive comes from that sort of discussion.

Don't let the few argumentative folks make you leave. It's better to just ignore them. They don't want to learn, grow or change.

Sounds unfortunate. However, in my experience, one of the keys to reaching being understood, is also understanding the other side, even if the other side may have some beliefs that can be a little bit harsh, if not sometimes incorrect.

Closing one's ears is definitely an available option to avoid hurt and disrespect. Though sometimes in a two-way conversation, not paying much weight to a person's opinion can cause them to do the same to the other person they are talking to. It's a vicious cycle, and sometimes it's kind of difficult to figure out the best approach.
