Fascism Test

I used the same site that @StarryNightshade used (I like the site and have used it before) and took this test.
How Fascist Are You?

Here is my result:
You are 68% Fascist, which makes you a
Bona Fide Fascist.

fascism-button-result.png

Well now. While very few people in modern Western democracies would call themselves fascists (and most of the people who are pejoratively called fascists are actually not), it would appear that you are nevertheless a true fascist. Now, whether you actually call yourself that or not we are unable to say, but the fact is that your political opinions are verifiably closer to the doctrines of fascism than they are to those of communism, socialism, conservatism, or liberalism. Among your answers, there is an unmistakable predilection for authoritative and state-centric political initiatives of which variants (or even carbon copies) may be found in the political manifestos of actual fascists. Even adjusting for happenstance and the common ground between fascism and these other political doctrines, the fact remains that you really are quite the fascist. Now whether that's a good or a bad thing we'll leave for others to decide.

What about you?

In the middle of it.

It's difficult, as there's just one slider and many of the questions seem to be 'do you want state control or free market control?' and I'm like definitely neither.

EDIT: 29% - Not Fascist.

It's my socialism!

Not Fascist.

While your political outlook may share a few (or even quite a few) of fascism's fundamental doctrines, it is overall safe to say that your political orientation is *not* a fascist one. Now, you may find this result unsurprising, but in reality, most people have at least some points of agreement with fascism since fascism is really a mix of communism, socialism, conservatism, and liberalism, with a few innovations of its own thrown in. Hence, adjusting for these factors, even though your fascism percentage might seem quite high, there is really nothing surprising about these agreements, when viewed in their proper historical context, so rest assured: Your political beliefs are definitely not fascist.

Yeah, not sure how accurate this quiz is.
No options for "I don't care" or "I don't quite understand this question/issue" (which happened on a few of them... lol). Also, no questions about the issues that are most important to me. Which is, sadly, not atypical for political quizzes.

Hmm. Seems quite accurate. Was kind of hoping I'd be a little lower down on the percentage though...

In your case, it would appear that your political outlook shares more than a few of the core doctrines of fascism. Since fascism is really a mix of communism, socialism, conservatism, and liberalism, with a few innovations of its own thrown in, it is scarcely surprising that most people's political outlook will have quite a few similarities with the doctrines of fascism. Even after adjusting for these parameters, however, it would seem that the commonalities between your political outlook and fascism are not merely incidental, but arise from certain overall themes, concerns, and solutions which your personal outlook has in common with fascism. While you are most likely *not* a fascist, the overlap between your preferred society and that of fascism is simply too significant to be pure chance. In all likelihood, you are what one might call a 'Fascist Fellow Traveler': Someone who sees value in some of the immediate societal changes that fascism would bring about, but *not* someone who is an actual fascist. Your ultimate political goal lies elsewhere.

Agree. I got the same description, I think 40%. Strange result for someone essentially libertarian who chose the individual is more important than the state on the questions...

Doesn't seem particularly inaccurate, but some of the questions could have been worded better.

This test doesn't really know what Fascism is. Fascism is not a combination of "communism, socialism, conservatism and liberalism". What the hell does that even mean? It's ultra-nationalism, extreme militarism, anti-individualism, anti-liberalism, viewing the State as an organic outgrowth of the Nation (which is usually defined in racial/ethnic terms) and totalitarianism.

I tried to avoid gaming the test.
One question was something about the dangers of democracy.
I answered by admitting great danger, despite the fact that I favor it.
I bet that boosted my score quite a bit.

34% Not a fascist, not surprised. Second test like this and I can tell what answer will give me. I answer them honestly but there are some that I answered in the fascist frame but not for the fascist reasons.
