If you're taking about "Our Lady of Fatima", that refers to the "appearence" of Mary to a couple of kids in Fatima, Portugal, in 1917.
Turned out to be a fraud, of course, but don't tell that to those who believe Mary actually appeared, or the RC Church.
Other than that, it's a common woman's name in some Arabic speaking countries (Mohammed's daughter was named Fatimah), and it was a brand of cigarettes back in the day.
I am unaware of any particular goddess named Fatima, however.
