Favorite Autumn album?

Do you have favorite "Autumn" album? Something that speaks to you even more when the days are shorter, and the nights are colder.

My favorite this time of year is REM's "Automatic for the People". It just doesn't have the same effect when I listen to it in the spring or summer.

Smashing Pumpkins' "Siamese Dream" is one of my favourite albums of all time, but I particularly associate it with autumn because I have an abiding memory of listening to it going to work @ University College Dublin during a short spell as a temp. For some reason, I remember September and the tunes @ once always.

Yes! Lovelife by Lush.

I was married in August of 2000 and in September, my husband and I bought a new car. That fall I remember driving around listening to Lush in my car...watching the leaves swirl in the road.

We also took many trips to Falls Church, VA to visit my in laws that fall and Lush was in the CD player. :)

Something about this collection of old time music really works with fall in northwestern Pennsylvania.

I'm going to have to take a listen to everyone else's choices. I have a few of them laying around the house. I haven't seen a bad album yet from the rest of you.
