I can't really boil it down too much, though I am currently going through a real resurgence back into Rammstein. I'm of the opinion that they may well be the best live band on the planet.

There are a lot of bands I like that rotate as favorites over time, but these have been some of my most consistent favorites:

Halestorm
Disturbed/Device (same singer)
Evanescence
Stone Sour
Evans Blue / Fight or Flight (same singer)
10 Years
Within Temptation
Linkin Park
Three Days Grace

I think Rammstein is pretty creepy (especially their videos) but their music is kind of cool.

My favorite song from them is probably Mein Herz Brennt.

The only video I can remember is Sonne. But they've helped me pick up on alot of German just because I often easily remember the lyrics with what alot of their songs are about.

Some of my favorites:
TOOL
Rammstein
Opeth
Beethoven
Nine Inch Nails
Aerosmith
Slayer
Icon of Coil

Hehe. I have 90 minutes programmed on my iPod of their St. Petersberg concert (the song lineup; not the actual concert) and I play it when I am watering the garden. I must look a bit amusing to see a middle age man playing air guitar with a garden hose. Oh well, the plants are doing well.

I thought it was another Disturbed album when I heard their music. The singing is basically the same except some songs feature another singer too, the music is a bit different- less focus on guitar. Pretty decent imo, but not quite like Disturbed.

They sound alot like Disturbed. A little bit of difference, but it could easily pass as a new Disturbed album.

That would be amusing to see!:D
I've seen some videos of Rammstein live, and would love to see the live. They look like they put on an amazing stage show.

Hard to say honestly. My musical tastes cross a few genres. Off the top of my head in no order. Korn, Marylin Manson to a point, Killswitch Engage, Nirvana, Red Hot Chile Peppers, Madonna, Eminem, Danny Elfman, Cannibal Corspe, Motley Cru, Kiss, Alice Cooper to a point, Breaking Benjamin, Fleetwood Mac, Cindy Lauper, Avenged Sevenfold, Bob Marley. Best I can do off the top of my head.

The Killers
Lily Allen
Amy Winehouse
Marilyn Manson
Muse
Lady Gaga (No shame! :p )
Linkin Park
Krishna Das
M.I.A.
Rob Zombie
Rammstein

Just to name a few.

I can also name someone I don't care for: Lana Del Ray.

Her voice and style are alright, but I find her to be like an American version of Adele: someone who is quite talented, but gets dull after a while due to a lack of variety in their music. Always slow and melancholy. I do like a couple of her songs, though.

I'm tempted to say Pink Floyd but at the same time I think they are extremely overrated. I much prefer King Crimson from ItCotCK - Red.

^I like all of the bands in this part of the list. I wouldn't say most of them classify as my all-time favorites, though. Just ones I definitely like.

Actually I think Thousand Foot Krutch might make it to my main list.

I also like Serenia, Nightwish, Sick Puppies, Apocalyptica, Flyleaf, Hoobastank, Slash, Metallica, Volbeat, Five Finger Death Punch, Eminem, and others. Actually I think Jimmy Eat World would be another band in my top list too.
