Frank Capra's classic "It's a Wonderful Life." No matter how many times I see it, it never fails to give me wonderful, warm fuzzies. :cloud9:

Heh I've always watched Rudolph since my childhood sort of like a holiday tradition even to this day I watch it during this season.

I'm gonna be a total dork and put my hand up for 'Miracle on 34th Street'. I wouldn't call it my absolute favourite, but it's right up there for the warm-and-fuzzies. I don't tend to watch Christmas movies really, but I always seem to catch this one and 'It's a Wonderful Life' when they're on.

The Christmas Story & It's a Wonderful Life are my favorites.

Any movie with Jimmy Stewart is fantastic!

My favorite movie is "The Christmas Toy". It's a Jim Henson film, but not starring the Muppets. It's about two children who have a playroom full of toys that come to life when no people are in the room, and the plot of the movie is about one of the characters wanting to be the children's favorite "Christmas toy" again this year. So, the other toys have to teach him the meaning of Christmas, from a toy point of view.

Really, "Toy Story" is a rip-off of this movie. :) It's unfortunate that the movie isn't popular enough to be out on DVD. =( My VHS (taped from the TV, complete with 1980's commercials!) is going to wear out soon.

"A Christmas Story" because it sooo reminds me of being a little kid at Christmastime in whitebread America. It's cinematic comfort food.

Will to love
I picked It's A Wonderful Life not only because I love the story but the entire setting is exactly the town I grew up in (no kidding! I'm from Seneca Falls and it looks exactly like the movie set). In they movie there are lots of references to other towns around SF and Capra visited Seneca Falls before he made the movie.

The bridge Jimmy Stewart jumps off is (just like) the bridge I walked over every day on my way to school. I want to live in the old dilapitated Victorian house the family lives in in the movie. :)

Celebrate the holiday season and the Frank Capra classic film in beautiful Seneca Falls! The town of Seneca Falls depicts Bedford Falls from the classic holiday film and invites everyone to join in the festivities. Personal Appearance of Karolyn Grimes who played ZuZu in the film. For more information call (315) 568-1542.

Seneca Falls is widely believed to be the inspiration for Frank Capra's holiday classic, "It's A Wonderful Life". Come to Seneca Falls and visit the village and locations that inspired Mr. Capra in his visits to Seneca Falls in the early 1900's. Stand on the bridge that Jimmy Stewart's character leaped from in the movie. Visit in December to take part in the weekend festivals that celebrate our connection to the holiday classic.
