Magic Man
Reaper of Conversation
OK, so, there's a best movie thread happening, but I thought we could use a "favorite movie scene" thread. So, pick one...or two or three, and let us know what they are. I'll start, in no particular order:
1) Braveheart - There are so many to choose from here, but I will go with Wallace's speech before the battle of Stirling. It just makes me want to go out and kill some Englishmen.
2) Temple Grandin - The scene towards the end when she's at a convention with her mother. When she gets up and starts explaining how her mother pushing her to do new things like go away to school her whole life really helped and made her a better person, it gives me goosebumps. That must have been one magical moment for her mom. (In case most of you haven't seen this one, you should. It's an HBO movie with Claire Danes as the main character, Temple Grandin.)
3) Ace Ventura - Again, it's hard to pick one, but the scene towards the end at the docks when he fights Einhorn/Finkle and exposes her as Finkle. It's one of the funniest scenes I've ever seen.
I could go on and on, but I'll stop for now.
