Favorite Movie Moment?

Magic Man

Reaper of Conversation
OK, so, there's a best movie thread happening, but I thought we could use a "favorite movie scene" thread. So, pick one...or two or three, and let us know what they are. I'll start, in no particular order:

1) Braveheart - There are so many to choose from here, but I will go with Wallace's speech before the battle of Stirling. It just makes me want to go out and kill some Englishmen. :D

2) Temple Grandin - The scene towards the end when she's at a convention with her mother. When she gets up and starts explaining how her mother pushing her to do new things like go away to school her whole life really helped and made her a better person, it gives me goosebumps. That must have been one magical moment for her mom. (In case most of you haven't seen this one, you should. It's an HBO movie with Claire Danes as the main character, Temple Grandin.)

3) Ace Ventura - Again, it's hard to pick one, but the scene towards the end at the docks when he fights Einhorn/Finkle and exposes her as Finkle. It's one of the funniest scenes I've ever seen.

I could go on and on, but I'll stop for now.

In the psych hospital in Terminator 2, when Sarah meets Arnold & the T1000.
The fight between Ripley & the alien queen in Aliens.
In Gattaca when Vincent discovers a previously unknown ally enables his trip to space.

Huh...I'd never know you were gay by those choices...:D

But very nice call with the Burger Shack scene. Whenever my friends and I see Anthony Anderson, we can't help saying "Let's burn this MFer down!". Awesome stuff.

Kilgore Trout

Misanthropic Humanist
The Shawshank Redemption - the scene outlining Andy's setup of the warden and his escape from prison:

The Adventures of Baron Munchausen (Terry Gilliam) has a number of great scenes, but two of my favorites are when he recounts the story of his wager with the sultan, and the scene where he rides cannonballs back and forth over the battlefield.

Oh, and in Harold and Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay, the bottomless party scene is genius.

My favorite moment was the second fight between Jen and Yu Shu Lien in Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon. The background is that Jen stole a sword called the Green Destiny, which is superior to any other weapon, and Yu Shu Lien is trying to get it back. Lien is the more skilled fighter (though both are skilled), but the sword Jen has vastly outperforms any other weapon.

Prince of Dorkness!
No embeds, but the scene in Deep Blue Sea where the shark comes out of the submersion pool and chomps Samuel L. Jackson at the height of his pep talk/speech.

Oh, and let me add one more just for the sake of the Kingdom of Nerddom.

The climax of The Wizard.
