If I had to pick just one I was always an Ecco the Dolphin fan. Even though it had difficult parts it was always a relaxing game for me.

I really haven't played a lot of Sega Genesis (or "Mega Drive" in Europe) games, but one that I do like is Gain Ground.

The only two games I remember playing on that are Ahh!!! Real Monsters and ToeJam & Earl. I loved those games. I miss ToeJam & Earl. I want to play it now. Lol.

I liked the game mechanics quite a bit and the references to the cheesy scifi/horror movies of the 1950s-90s added a sense of humor.

I didnt play before and none today but I like Eternal Champions and Final Fantasy eight and definitly Tactics

I am a Nintendo loyalist, but I did enjoy the Sega Genesis. My favorites for it are probably the Phantasy Star games, Sonic 2, Ecco the Dolphin, and Road Rash 2. I really liked the Castlevania game that came out on the Genesis, Bloodlines, but it paled in comparison (IMO) next to the Super Nintendo's Super Castlevania IV.

Final Fantasy 8 and Final Fantasy Tactics are from the PlayStation 1, not the Sega Genesis.

They are. I just started to replay 8. It's been a long time, I've only played through once, and I didn't really use the junction system last time.

FFVIII is so underrated and I think it probably is because people find the junction system tedious. I think VIII does have a plot it takes fine tastes in video games to appreciate. I played IX again recently. That's one of my favorites.
