Fear of god

So many "religious" folk tend to say they love God and he loves them back and they trust him and yet they will never question him or say bad things with good intentions about him or pray for Satan. It always seems to be out of fear, not love. Most people I see preach the hardest seem the furthest from god and only are there to ask for things.

And the god in the Bible should embody good qualities yet he is selfish demanding worship with our lives, annoying by constantly reminding us what he had done, and seemed to over react many times for someone all seeing all knowing and forgiving. Also labeled murder as a sin yet killed all people and animals except Noah and his wife. And had people kill on his behalf many times. The god I read about is riddled with contradictions.

The god i know never comes close

Why do you think He demands worship? Bible says:

The God who made the world and all things in it, he, being Lord of heaven and earth, doesn't dwell in temples made with hands, neither is he served by men's hands, as though he needed anything, seeing he himself gives to all life and breath, and all things.
Acts 17:24-25
Pure religion and undefiled before our God and Father is this: to visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained by the world.
James 1:27

In Bible there is a difference between murder and killing. Murder is unlawful, but killing can sometimes be lawful. What say you, should God allow evil to continue forever and make life eternal suffering for all?

The Christian Bible is not the sole scripture in the world. And I have no reason to believe that it's 100% true with no human intervention.

Besides which fear has been a way to control people for uncounted millennia. There was to me a great statement about fear and wanting by a great female sufi:

"O God! if I worship Thee in fear of Hell, burn me in Hell; and if I worship Thee in hope of Paradise, exclude me from Paradise; but if I worship Thee for Thine own sake, withhold not thine everlasting beauty." - Rabi'a al-Basri (717–801 CE)
