The world of comics books (DC Comics and Marvel Comics) gives us three special superheroes who are also socialites/businessmen of conspicuous wealth.
1. Tony Stark (aka, Iron Man) - head of Stark Industries and metallic crusader
2. Bruce Wayne (aka, Batman) - head of Wayne Enterprises and an urban vigilante
3. Oliver Queen (aka, Green Arrow) - wealthy socialite and vigilante-archer
Stark, Wayne, and Queen signify our appreciation of wealth and fortune and the responsibility that comes with such personal happiness.
For our age of fun social high-speed tech-related networking (e.g., Facebook, eTrade, etc.), we can consider how fortune is related to socialization and teamwork.
I like using Stark (Iron Man), Wayne (Batman), and Queen (Green Arrow) to contemplate America's precocious fascination with the almost-vigilante power associated with the influence of wealth.
If Donald Trump is the next American President (after all, are we ready for a female president?), the political landscape will change, and Ross Perot's vision of a finance-driven American government of the modern age will come to fruition.
Isn't it interesting how many comic book adapted films are being made in Hollywood?
The Trump Organization
====
STARK: We must give the U.S. military the weapons for defense it craves.
WAYNE: We must ensure that politicians convey to the masses that such weapons are only for defense.
QUEEN: Someone has to make sure that no one 'tempts' the army to use weapons for mass destruction.
IRON MAN: Doctor Doom, a supreme terrorist, must be destroyed.
BATMAN: First, I'll deal with Bane (a steroids-pumped maniac).
GREEN ARROW: The Devil is teaching man how to use chemical weapons!
STARK: Biochemical warfare is a legacy of the Gulf War.
WAYNE: We have to be sure that Americans are educated about ISIS.
QUEEN: Money rules the world.
