Finding Jots and Tittles in the Bible

Maybe tittles is spelled wrong. Let's find out.
Someone asked me if I know every jot and tittle in the Bible but I didn't even know what jots and tittles were. Now that I do, I don't understand the question much.

How do know what the Bible really says?
I don't.
Why do I think it isn't right in places?
Because some scripture is not in harmony with other scriptures.
The command is to look at the whole thing so a person must know it well before he can know what it truly says.
I know it well. I do not know it better than Bible scholars but they apparently have an agenda that I do not have.
Their agenda is a wall which they can not see through.

Maybe ask the asker if he knows what jots and tittles are?
That is very good advice but I think that our writing on that thread must have got mighty annoying.
I think jots and tittles are wonderful things!
@djhwoodwerks so I came here to find out about jots and tittles.

Know what?
That someone asked you if you know every jot and title in the Bible but you didn't know what jots and titles were. And then, once you found out you realized you didn't understand the question.

Its funny actually, because this morning I was actually just thinking, "I wonder if savagewind knows what jots and titles are?" And then that very same day, you post this.
Coincidence?
I think not.

So thanks for this thread!

I learned about jots and tittles in a completely non-biblical context, when I was a boy. The phrase "I care not one jot" was oft thrown about the house. One must learn the words to survive in my house. I made sure, when arguing, to dot every i and cross every t.

Jot means to write quickly. I have no way of knowing if anything in the Bible was ever jotted. I think not.
Tittles are marks like over an English language small I. It would make sense that a person should know the right Bible tittles because
a tittle can change the meaning of a word in some languages.

This is not a jokes thread. I posted that I do not use a Bible when asked if I, a former JW, still use the New World Translation Bible. And I said that I do not use a Bible. And he said then how do I "find the truth". Or do I know every jot and tittle? I think it is an expression that doesn't mean jots and tittles.
OK!

Most of us jot on the forum. Practice makes it easier and easier to fly right with jotting. But ancient people had no way to jot I think.

So the question for discussion is how to know what is true and what isn't true.
You have to start with knowledge. You must be dedicated to the job. You must have no motive but to know. You have to be prepared to be shocked.
It might be that you have to have a certain biological intelligence like your brain must be up to the challenge. You have to trust in the helper The Holy Spirit and you should remain faithful to it.

I am not sure you are familiar with the term jot in the way that the person intended its use.

it refers to the details of writing letters, with the jot being the smallest letter and the tittle being the cross piece on the t or the dot on the i and j

I do not know every jot and tittle in the Bible. I know that nobody knows every right written word.
Then the argument goes that if some of it is not right then what good is all of it?
Look at it like a person. Nobody is perfect in every way but all people are still worth knowing a little or a lot.

Think it refers to every little tiny detail of Gods law in biblical sense without leaving anything unconsidered .
Understandable to ALL in every detail using the simplest , least amounts of words . Not open to translation , direct ,without narrative .
Then is details of the actual grammar my favorite
Miss the dot of i becomes l
Miss cross on t , is a u or reverse j ?
Every detail in content and presentation

Only God knows all the jots and tittles imo. So if I have a question on something written I ask God. I find that every time I have got an answer it has been clear like spring water.

I think answers are for the listener. If a person is apt to tell others what God said without permission then God will not talk to that person in the first place I suppose.

Maybe we do know all the jots n tittles but sometimes is more convenient to play innocent
Think a minimal amount of jots n tittles can be put in one simple statement?
Respect the creation

No let's no be ridiculous I mean can't go for a walk in the woods without something going crunch under foot.
You breed ticks to later make genocide imagination of pol pot ?
Ticks drop from trees and come in on dogs. If you get bit by a deer tick that has lyme you get it. One small bite can ruin a life. You say, "respect the creation". I don't.
This: "You breed ticks to later make genocide imagination of pol pot ?" is a wonderful sentence.
