Florida Now Banning Dictionaries & Encyclopedias

My point is that in Florida people ban such books because the Dems are obsessed with sex books, and do anything to make children read them.
It's the republicans who are attempting to ban books, so WTF are you even babbling about? What does this have to do with Dems other than them defending the first amendment? Clearly it's the republicans who are obsessed since they're the ones carrying out the witch hunt. You were corrected on this yet you continue regurgitating falsehoods.

How do you expect people to take a transwoman who promotes a transphobic agenda seriously?
I only endorse serious politicians. Like Sanders or Gabbard, or Kennedy.

But Kennedy is a conspiracy theorist kook, so you're wrong.

You don't see **** in Italy.
But you could start your own thread about
this crap instead of trying to derail mine.
You brought me up:
I'm happy with her voting only in Italy.

That said...I agree with the government of Florida.
Kids need to be taught romance.
Like Argentinian telenovelas from sunrise to sunset. I was raised with them. And I turned out perfect. :)

I'm surprised The Handmaid's Tale isn't considered required reading. I suppose that it's portrayal of a totalitarian theocracy in a negative light is what irks some.

Twilight Hue

Twilight, not bright nor dark, good nor bad.
Excellent article. Explains it well.

The focus on education needs to be paramount in schools and the public library is an excellent alternative for students to evade in house bans.

In my school we had both the bookmobile from the library and we also had bi weekly field trips to the public library, and of course we had our own school library which is a lot more limited as explained why in the link. I think that was a well-rounded way to go about these things and as to why.
