Certainly not. I learnt to debate in a very rough pub. Sometimes people got hit, always people got very offended but nobody was ever ignored. That would be considered very rude.

I don't have anybody on ignore for that reason. Most on ignore are there because their words are incoherent, and a few for their emotional posting and/or off-putting personalities - not their beliefs.

In some ways, I wish RF was more like Facebook in terms of actually blocking people from seeing what I post, and I can no longer see their posts. I do, however, like the fact that I can prevent unwanted messages by just allowing those I follow to send me private messages. I think that's a positive option.

I have only one person I'm ignoring currently. You have not risen to the point that I'll consider it for you. You clearly need to try much much harder. And given that you are Staff and can speak ex cathedra, I'm not allowed to ignore you in any event and certainly not when you're smiting me.

Maybe a reverse blocking feature for threads that you make and you can block certain posters from participating in your own threads.

I kind of think the whole forum would get pretty boring after a while once it's implemented.
