I'm glad that you all like it . She did everything she could to make it a good shot , but I'm not completely happy about the focusing ... but that happens , a lot , with wildlife . I do like the reflection in her eyes from the flash though . It kinda helps to bring out that feral look .

I think she's thinking that she'll have to deal with anyone that might step on her kids, so she's showing that she's not at all happy with this idea.

I was chatting with a lovely person today, and I decided that the vixen's expression is more akin to "Don't make me have to come over there and bite you!"

I don't think that is quite that good Pussyfoot . I have a Fujiflim S3000 , which is totally automatic . I just point , and hope that the camera does the rest . So no , it is just a hobby . But thank you for the compliments everyone .

Feathers , the strange thing is that the mother Fox never barked , or made a sound the whole time . Although she did when I visited her several days later . She basically just watched me the whole time .

This is how close I actually got to the pup , without realizing it . It is also an excample of how many of my photos turn out ...

I was watching the mother , and don't notice the young .

And this is how I wish all of my pics turned out { although it has nothing to do with Foxes , I am rather proud of this pic }
