me and my brother have the same laptop, only, he dropped his on his way to school by mistake, and it broke in two ........ im assuming that to be a weak point on my laptop too :D

I'm not sure its a ever good idea to disable your firewall! With the amount of remote computers probing for vulnerable ports nowadays its always a risk.
