Fritz the Cat

Watched this the other night. It's an animated film from 1972. A very odd and interesting movie that was a political/social commentary on it's era, and was quite raunchy even by todays standards. Has anyone else seen this one?

Ah, Ralph Bakshi animated based on a comic character created by Robert Crumb (who later killed off his creation because he disliked the movie so much). I enjoyed Fritz The Cat, it is one of my guilty pleasures (avoid the horrendous "9 Lives Of Fritz The Cat" sequel). If you liked this, other sources for you to consider would be the original comic strip which has been compiled into a trade paperback and if it is political/social commentary (even from the 60's and 70's) that you enjoy, check out Ralph Bakshi's other offerings like Heavy Traffic, Street Fight and Hey Good Lookin'.

Didn't like the movie - saw it years ago when we sent our guy friends out to get anime porn, and they brought that back instead. However, I love Robert Crumb.
