I think honesty is the best policy. About a month ago there was a glitch in the coins/frubal system. For every ten coins you gave away you received 1 frubal. I discovered this when I was giving coins to people so they could get a "glowing user name." I told Rex about it and Rex, has repaired this glitch and it is no longer there. I don't know how many people noticed this or were affected by it, or for how long it was there. I do want to be honest, though, and say that a few hundred of my frubals are from giving so many coins. They weren't earned from members.

*gasp!* You mean your frubals were earned from your kindness in giving away coins?!

I think the frubal system is in place to give us a place to show that a person is an 'upstanding member of the community', that they consider others and they are thoughtful. I would fight anyone who would suggest anything less than that about you. (Not for very long though. I'd remember in the middle of the fight that I'm a pacifist and run away.)

I know it's only my opinion, but I think those frubals were every bit as "earned" as ones given by other members. You got them through your kindness to other members.

I don't see why that's not fair. You were helping other members. You got frubals for it. And you weren't doing it in order to get frubals. Sounds fair to me. Frubals aren't realy "earned" anyway. If they were "earned," they'd be awarded more rationally. They're more like love. --Yes, I know that sounds smarmy - gag me!-- But like love, they don't need a reason.

I'd frubal you if I had any left. Need to wait a few hours.

They were earned from your generosity. I benefitted too!

I don't know if it's new or was always there but the frubal limit is 10501 - onwards marked by 5 Dark green, 5 Light green, 10 Gold. Sounds like it is open ended. I suspect it was always there since there didn't seem to be any problem going past 2000. Maybe it was the "pop-up text" that accompained the frubal bars that doesn't change?

I got frubals for giving awy $6000 for ID improvemets. But since there is no incentive to saving coins (I've given away $21, 00 recently) I wouldn't benefit from a re-instatement of either rule.

I am not worried whether I get frubals or coins. I just like to type
on RF because there are a lot of nice people here that I can type
to and read their replies. I know I have not been on in a while, but

I am still waiting. So guess what?! Now he has to share his computer
