I've told you at least 100 times why Israel is justified in responding in kind to Hamas. You want hamas to be able to kill Jewish civilian she but dont want Israel to respond in kind. Normal people would call that anti semitic you call it "logic".

Huge shifts in technology, but not in society or socio-political thinking. You are forgetting how long it took for women to gain voting rights in the West. How further for women to gain economic independence (a forced move during the world wars).In much of the developing world, even democracy is not there. And there is a surplus of labor. Unless there is a transition to a highly industrial economy with large labor requirements along with a concurrent movement in democracy, you won't find women's rights improve much in most of these countries.

I'm not arguing history. But if we don't make big shifts much, much faster than we have historically, society is doomed.

I acknowledge that both sides have committed war crimes. For the rest, I believe in a 2 or 1 state solution as relevant for both people.

There's something really wrong with you. I knew you were going to post something stupid like this in reply but I didn't really post that for you, anyway. I realize there's no getting through to you because you are apparently a Jewish supremacist who views Jewish lives as worth more than the lives of others, even when the scale of atrocity is unfathomably out of proportion. (You don't have be Jewish to be a Jewish supremacist as most Zionists seem to be such to some degree.) Most of the rabid Zionists on here are apparently too embarrassed to bother anymore, anyway. I guess they've realized we don't want to hear it anymore. Or maybe they're just on vacation at the same time.

I tend to agree with the global consensus that both Hamas and the Israeli state have committed war crimes (Palestinians did kill civilians at the Nova Festival to at least some extent) and I believe taking hostages is illegal too (although most of the released Israeli hostages seemed to have been treated decently). However Israel's crimes are far more severe and constitute genocide. Plus, the Israeli's have been brutalizing the Palestinians for many decades so these things must be placed in context.

No but i submit hamas has had control of gaza for almost 20 years now. Israel may not like or want a 2 state solution but have done more than Hamas to create one. On the other hand we do have an explicit statement from Hamas that they have no interest in a two state solution.
