Generational differences

I am passionate about our youth, education, and their lack of a worldview. The Millennials and Gen Zers seem hopeless and lack critical thinking. Generally, apathetic, uninspired, lost, and confused.l. Lack of purpose and or meaning in their lives.

What do y’all think!

That supposedly describes my generation....gen X. Every generation derides the generations before and after them.

I think this doesn't describe me, as a millennial.

I also think you are harping on an age complaint against youth.

I don't think generations should compete against each other.
They should be united to make society a better place.

Because the generation gap is already a communication barrier.
Honestly I think millennials are much more educated because society and economy changed completely.
A high school diploma was sufficient to get a good job in the eighties.
What about now? You need degree, master and specializations.

Because it's the neo-liberism that doesn't care about the value of human being.
So it forces generations to fight each other, instead of cooperating for a juster society. With a public pensions system, early retirement age, free assistance for the elderly. That's the world we need.

You definitely can't say that for all societies around the globe.

I think a lot of people are struggling, especially in the US, with multiple recessions and housing crisis for decades now. And while everyone can be be effected by this, millennials and gen z have the statistically smallest amount of wealth to insulate them from recessions and stagnant wages. They're called lost and purposeless because they won't engage with a political and financial environment that won't allow for them to thrive.
