...just repeat a couple lines...

“God, I know I have sinned. I am very sorry for the things I've done wrong and want to do better through you. Thank you for forgiving all of my mistakes. In the name of Christ I pray, Amen.”

John 3:3 ~ "Jesus replied, “Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again."

Can one be born again and gain admission into the Kingdom of Heaven by just speaking these words above?

The link provided includes 3 methiods of becoming a Christian.

The first method has 6 steps.
The second method has 7 steps.
The third method has 5 steps.

So I will have to go with a solid "No" in answer of your question: "Can one be born again and gain admission into the Kingdom of Heaven by just speaking these words above?"

You need to believe them.

You also need to attempt to lead a Christian life even though we all fail miserably at it.

It’s not a fire and forget prayer that automatically gives you admission into Heaven.

In fact there are no specific words you need to speak, Jesus will know your heart when you pray.

If person says those words, is sorry of his wrong doings, I believe it is possible he has already been born anew. If not, he would probably not say so.

I don't believe so.

I believe baptism is needful first, then a kind of ongoing repentance.

My view is that people enter into the kingdom of Jesus when they are filled with a desire to serve and obey him above all others, learning to live the way he says to live. It's a gift. I don't think that there's anything anyone can think, say or do, to buy their way in.

Christian theology is one thing. To me there's a different kind of being "born again" when the shell of the personal ego thins and cracks to the point where life takes a true spiritual turn. That's not a matter of rituals and words but of real opening to a spiritual dimension.

That looks very close to what I'm thinking.

My thinking is it's more useful to change from the mystical and express this in everyday nuts'n'bolts.

Most folks have complex belief systems that are held up by cherished convictions and elaborate logic structures. THAT'S whats needed to be thrown out. We come to the truth as a little child devoid of baggage. Hey, if it doesn't work you can always run back and pick up all that baggage but one does not come to the Lord w/ a stack of "yes-but's" ready to disagree & argue.

I agree. If a person is genuinely asking to enter the kingdom, they probably already have.
