Get real: climate change and funding

I have discovered actual, real, verifiable scientific evidence that anthropogenic climate change is fake. Now all I need is for someone to publish my findings and enough funding to carry out further research.

If only there were some kind of massively wealthy industry which would benefit from the objective demonstration that burning fossil fuels is harmless. Then I could get funding for my research. Oh well. I'll pretend I haven't discovered anything and just go for pitifully small government grants by saying that anthropogenic climate change is real.

Who here believes there is anyone on the planet who has found themselves in the situation above?

Do you work with other scientists, or is this just an amateur endeavor?

Any coal or oil company would be falling over themselves to give their money away to someone with real evidence.

Or contact the koch, i hear they are free with their money when it comes to funding any climate change deniers

Real evidence would be a bonus, but it's not an absolute requirement. If you can produce a sufficient quantity of superficially convincing bogus evidence, our clients would very much like to hear from you.

Are you just outlining a hypothetical scenario, or have you really discovered "actual, real, verifiable scientific evidence that anthropogenic climate change is fake"?

If you're looking for funding for research, then maybe you could approach an oil company or a coal-mining form, as they would stand to benefit financially if it could be proved that anthropogenic climate change is fake. But you'd probably have to give them something to start with.

That's what I was thinking, although I posted it before I saw this post.

As I read the first few lines, I was formulating my own bitingly sarcastic post in reply. o_O;)You had me there.

I'm afraid this would all come too late. All the oil companies, even Exxon Mobil , are now convinced anthropogenic climate change is real and must be tackled. Most of the European ones (such as the one I used to work for) have recognised it for several decades now. So I really don't think there would be much interest from them in funding research purporting to show it was false. That ship has sailed.

OK, if most of us have missed it, why not enlighten us?
Sure thing. @Stevicus - this is also for you.

It is written to highlight the obviousness of the fact that anyone who actually had evidence that there was no real climate change happening would find themselves stocked with funding from a multi-billion dollar industry who would be entirely too willing to have real evidence on their side.

The OP wasn't, at all, claiming that they actually had such evidence (though that is the way it appears when one first starts to read it). The very last line is the clincher, and reveals the "punch line" of sorts:

Do you see now?

OK, I think most of us did get that, actually. (Though I have questioned it in the sense that the oil and gas industry has now bought into climate change so I think it is too late to expect them to fund such a piece of work.)
