Giants, called Nephilim, were around during the time of noah, and they were in the land of canaan.

Genensis 6: 4The Nephilim were on the earth in those days--and also afterward--when the sons of God went to the daughters of men and had children by them. They were the heroes of old, men of renown.

The first three are either manipulated or use photographic perspective techniques to create a visual illusion.

As for "little hobbits," what are talking about? You didn't link any photos of "little hobbits" in your OP. If I'm not mistaken, that would be the opposite of "Giants".

The national geographic webpage has a link to a pic dopp..look closely.

To a picture of a "giant"? It looks like a picture of a diminutive person rather than a huge one.

Your inclusion of the National Geographic link may be one of the more surreal non sequitors I've seen in a while.

Unless, of course, he wasn't.

Your capacity for lapping up the thinnest of gruel is astounding. Have you every considered actually studying a topic before babbling about it?

Yes unless of course he wasnt...myth section remember, so your insults are wasted on me.

Note:
Goliath's height

There are significant differences between the Masoretic (Hebrew), Septuagint (Greek), and Dead Sea Scrolls versions of 1 Samuel 17. One of the most interesting of these relates to Goliath's height: 4QSam(a), the Dead Sea Scrolls text of Samuel, gives the height of Goliath as "four cubits and a span," (approximately 200 cm or about six feet seven inches), and this is what the 4th century AD Septuagint manuscripts and the 1st century AD historian Josephus also record. Later Septuagint manuscripts and the oldest Masoretic texts (Aleppo Codex, 10th century AD) read "six cubits and a span," which would make him about 290 cm or nine feet six inches tall. [source]

You live you learn. Im still learning. The biggest fool is the one who thinks he knows it all. Not that that makes you a fool jay, just your bitter comments about the respect for my topic is foolish. Im not trying to get a nobel prize for the biggest AHole. Are you? So goliath was shorter than we think. That is your opinion, and your sources opinion. You wont mind if i choose, just like you, what i want to believe and what i dont. Do ya?

There was no bitterness at all, but please feel free to think so if it helps. You handle topics in manner that is intellectually irresponsible: much more would be expected from an C+ book report. You may well "live and learn," but there is little indication that you exert much energy in the process. Your loss ...
